Like really I'm genuinely asking. Why does Marvel seem to hate Spider-Man so much? They have been making nothing but shitty decisions in this run and undid all of the development Peter and MJ had in the Spencer run. There are several moments where Peter acts like an out of character dumbass and his power and skills are weirdly reduced. For example there's a moment where he breaks into the Baxter Building and steals something from the Fantastic Four who are his friends because he has no time to explain and he also punches Captain America. I'm willing to buy this and go along with it and think that Peter would totally do that in this context since heat of the moment, what he wouldn't do though is pick a fight with the Fantastic Four when they confront him about it after the fact and try to help him.
At one point he needs Norman Osborn to help him since Vulture is about to kill him and he is just getting his ass handed to him by Vulture. Spider-Man has beaten cosmic beings and Vulture is just some old fuck in a flying suit. Honestly I'm expecting Spider-Man to get his ass handed to him by Hydro Man or Hammerhead at some point in this run.
MJ also left him for some dude named Paul and they had kids. I shit you not, the kids are such a plot device that editorial forgot one of their names. Their daughter is referred to as Stephanie and then in another issue is referred to as Romy. They did fix this by having Stephanie be her middle name and Romy be her real name but you know damn well that was not the intention at all and that Zeb Wells and Nick Lowe just forgot her name.
Genuinely why does Marvel seem to hate Spider-Man so much? What is the reason? He seems to have a bit of a case of Lizard Syndrome to where he repeats the same fucking arcs over and over again. He's almost 30 in 616 time. Is Marvel Editorial just contractually obligated to make stupid fucking decisions? We are now at a point where the movies, shows, and games are better than the actual source material.

Ok so listening to the off-topic section talk about werewolf etc made me think if there was a werewolf "hero" in Overwatch. I'm reminded of the wolfbats (again) that were in Phara's voiceline and even without knowing what they look like created a moveset. It'll be a simple damage like Reaper or Tracer.

I just keep getting this feeling like I'm in the wrong place and I'm not from here. Not necessarily my body but maybe my soul?
I feel like I'm from a galaxy where things are drastically different from here.
Specifically, I think I'm from a place that has higher vibrations and where this dense stuff we call matter doesn't exist.
It makes no sense but that's a thought I keep having.
I feel like the place I'm from is somehow more advanced than this crude material world.
I hear melodies when I think about it almost like singing bowls but more beautiful.

At one point in the the early 2010s, I thought that by now we would have photorealistic CGI humans and would have overcome the uncanny valley, but still, it seems video game graphics have stagnated, where the NPCs of the latest AAA games, such as Final Fantasy 16, are hardly any different from the NPCs of the early 2010 games.
Even the metahumans from UE5 - ordinary people can easily tell that they are not real.
Is it due to the lack of computing power or the lack of research in the proper algorithms required to enable this, but why don't we yet have the technology to create photorealistic CGI NPCs/humans that are indistinguishable from real humans?
I am not talking about the AI - just the body movement and facial expressions - even this domain seems still very primitive compared to real life humans.

As the title says, who is your comfort hero?
To add some context, this hero will always give you fun, joy, excitement and satisfaction no matter if it's ranked, classic or brawl.
Playing this hero will never make you tilt, annoyed, angry or bored. Playing this hero always relaxes you and it don't matter if you lose many times with this hero, you can still proudly say to yourself "Hey, I had so much fun!"
To start off, mine is Xavier.
I rarely use him in rank, mostly classic but when I do, it feels peaceful and fun to play regardless if my team is losing or toxic. There's just this satisfaction of immobilizing people and sniping them from far away. Also since he doesn't have any dash or escape skills, playing him teaches me about proper positioning.

I ma interested in any information about the general home buying process in Delaware. We are selling our house in a community property state and likely moving to Delaware. We've bought and sold several homes so am specific generally with home buying and selling just looking for general information on Delaware. Yes, we will eventually get a buyer's agent.
Where I live, when you buy a house you generally have an option period where you can do your inspections and can cancel the contract for any reason (even if it is just because you found another house you like better). Typical house inspection is a general inspection and that inspector might recommend other specific inspections based upon what they find. Attorneys are generally not involved in this process at all. Once the option period is over there are things that can cause the deal to fall through such as buyer financing, title report, appraisal.
So, questions about Delaware:
Is there something like the option period where you can do inspections and can cancel for any reason? If not, what is typical?
Are there any inspections other than a general inspection that are typical?
Are attorneys involved and, if so, at what point in the process? Does your agent usually suggest someone or do I need to find one?
Our situation is a little different as our large down payment (likely 50% to 60% of the purchase price, will be community property. My understanding is that in some states you can take title as community property in this situation (and not as joint tenancy) which will mean there is a step up in basis if one of the couple dies. (That happens in community property states). Does anyone know how that is handled in Delaware? I assume we will likely need a real estate attorney for that.
Any other things about buying in Delaware that someone from another state might be surprised by? I am aware some homes are sold with land leases. We will not be buying one of those.

Hi everyone. Did anyone have some recent issues with PA Randy Moss's pushhealth service. I have used his service, and everything was fine up until now. Initially, I'm on Wegovy 0.25 mg, and after 1 month I have asked him to up a dose to 0.5 mg, and he agreed with that. I did request that 5 days before the end of my first month on Wegovy 0.25 mg
For some reasons I don't know, after I submit the prescription request, the script for the Wegovy 0.5 mg has not been sent to the pharmacy, and the prior authorization process has not been done. I have messaged him a lot of times about this, but seems like he ignored it.
I don't know if there is any changes to his pushealth clinic that a lot of messages got backed up? Or I get banned from his clinic? Or he seemingly just ignored my message. It has been almost a week since I'm not on any Wegovy medication. Anyone has any info about this? It seems like his reddit group also dissapeared too.

This day last year I had just spent the prior week binging vodka and barely eating. I had sent texts to my partner that I didn't think I was going to make it. I was mentally exhausted and had ended up in the ER for a broken elbow a year prior due to a drunken fall. I'd often make it weeks or even a couple months at one point but making it a year seemed unfathomable, but here I am today. If I can do it, so can you.
Yesterday I just summited Mount Baker on my splitboard and rode from the summit to base! A stark contrast and much better way to push my mind and body. The one positive takeaway from all the hangovers, withdrawals and agony is that now that I'm sober it's easier to push myself through a sufferfest or difficult situation because it can't be nearly as bad as the depths of alcohol addiction.
For anyone struggling and going through Day 1s over and over I send you all my support! It was by far the hardest part for me. My best advice is to just not quit quiting. Focus on the successes and not your relapses. Try different approaches and just because something doesn't work right away doesn't mean it won't work. You might just need to try again. The power this addiction has at controlling your decision making is unreal. I fell into the trap of thinking I could moderate more times than I can count. Looking back now, I can't believe the ways I would convince myself to drink. Saying I just won't drink tomorrow so that I could drink today, and then drinking "just a beer or two" to avoid the hangover so I could get some work done the next day was a common one. Realizing moderation wasn't possible was a painfully learned lesson but a real tipping point. It took time to learn to become a none drinking persona.
I was thinking yesterday at one point "I don't know if I'll make it up all 7350 feet of vertical to get to the peak today" but I just started and put one ski ahead of the other and after 3-4 hours the peak was getting visibly closer and seemed so much more attainable making it easier to push ahead. Taking things one step at a time is where it's at. Don't drink this hour, the next hour, the next day and the next and then one day you'll say holy shit I actually made it this far!

Hello, so dogs had 8 puppies all the puppies except 2 went to their forever home around April 25th, 1 of the ones that stayed is my daughter's, and the other is a person that couldn't get the puppie till May 18th. So the 18th comes the pup goes home, on May 26th (8 days later) I text the person to see how the puppie is doing. She replies with "He's hyper and acting himself just has diarrhea SO BAD", the next day she informs me the puppie has parvo. Today she tells me he has passed away and wants her money back. I want to be as fair as I can be but all the puppies are fine including my daughter's that is still here and healthy. Is it more likely he got it at my home or from them? Thank you for your help.

My goal as a DM is always to challenge my players. I will not try and out right kill you but Actions have consequences. Not all fights will be winnable, sometimes you might have to run to stay alive. Some of the NPC in the game are intelligent they might target the Healer or Mage first to easily defeat the party. I tend to Limit the AC of my players. I have seen too many times where players have high AC making them unhittable and frustrating for me as a DM. Some Armor and AC boosting Magic Items will not be found or are very hard to get. I have DMed more with Combats then with roleplay so during this campaign I am going to try and Push myself to roleplay more. While roleplaying I ask that you roll checks like Insight, Persuasion, Deception, or Intimidation when you feel like your character would need to. Depending on the social encounter I might modify your roll. I do allow interparty Conflict but if you must fight no one will Die. You can play an Evil PC but you must still work with the party. There might be a few situation where this changes.

The US became an oil producing superpower from ~2010 - current, and are currently the largest producing country in the world. There is no longer a need to invade countries, given they are energy independent, and have been a net oil exporter since 2011.
While this point was certainly valid pre 2010, this is no longer factually true. I can think of many other examples.

Possibly NSFW. I (37m) recently returned from an international vacation. I traveled to a country where I did not speak the language to spend a week with an online cam model.
Before Covid, I had plans to take a big solo international trip. I hadn’t worked out any specifics, but I knew it was something I wanted to do. With things opened back up, I decided to seriously start planning some travel. I realized I was tired of thinking about what I want to do “someday” and chose to finally do it. So, I had to choose my destination. I wanted somewhere with a beautiful landscape, something culturally that I wanted to learn about, something brand new to me, and ideally somewhere that I knew someone local. Around that time, some pics made it to my front page on Reddit of a certain city, and I knew that it was the home of this woman I had known online for awhile.
A little history about our relationship before this: We met through her cam site several years ago and eventually started talking frequently through WhatsApp, continuing to talk even when she stopped camming for a couple years. Most of our conversations were not sexual, but they sometimes were. I always told myself to not be naive and think she actually was really attracted to me. “The strippers don’t actually want to f*ck you.” But aside from tipping her on the cam site, our relationship was not transactional. Fast forward to recently. After I saw a few oddly targeted Reddit posts with beautiful pictures from this same city, brought up the topic to her about actually wanting to see some of those places in person. It was to a place that most Americans consider fairly dangerous, so I made sure to give people at home contact info, where I would be, and even the home address of the woman I was visiting. I didn’t tell anyone how I knew this woman; only that I had a friend there I was visiting. It turned out that a friend of mine at home knew someone there, and he got me in contact with her if I ran into any issues while I was there. I also became friends with someone at home who was also from that city, and she gave me some travel advice that turned out to be very helpful, and she assured me that it was a safe place as long as you didn’t do anything stupid there. And so I went.
It could not have been any more amazing. The city and landscape were beautiful. The people were all kind and friendly, even though I didn’t speak the language. Thankfully, I have traveled enough to be able to amicably handle a language barrier. A smile, an apology, an effort, respect, and zero sense of entitlement all go a long way. In the end, people are all just people. And then finally, I met this beautiful woman face to face. We hit it off in person even better than we had online for the years prior. She had exactly the same personality and weird humor that she maintained online, and we matched each other’s vibes pretty well. I had made it clear before we met that I did not necessarily expect sex, but that I hoped we would still have a physical connection when we met in person. Miraculously, we hit it off on all fronts. I experienced some real local life, instead of just crowded tourist traps. She really went out of her way to make sure I had an amazing time. She booked reservations, translated when necessary, and even took a ton of pictures with both of our phones so that I could enjoy taking in everything around me.
Now a little NSFW: The sex was amazing. She said she wanted me to take good memories home, so we should make a video. That was a first for me. She also did something else that was also a first for me.
So I fulfilled multiple fantasies: I traveled to a different continent by myself and experienced a new culture and saw some amazing sights. And I met the beautiful camgirl in person, and it turned out she was actually into me.

I am looking for advice in regards to the following situation.
I had been in a position for two years, where I had been doing a high level of responsibilities and accountabilities of my peers in other areas of the organisation. My title was not aligned with the responsibilities but I didnt care too much as I thought I wasnt being ripped off too much in my salary.
About a year ago, there was a restructure, and I was told there was no change in my job, except for reporting line, to a different manager remaining with the same job spec. All sounded fine and business as usual. However, with this new reporting line, the manager has by stealth given me significantly more accountabilities. I am smashing it out of the park with those responsibilities and just deliver with no fuss or complaints. However I have recently been annoyed that I have the same title as other juniors despite the significant difference in accountabilities. Basically they have taken advantage of my compliance.
So I had a respectful discussion with my manager who has agreed the role has changed significantly from my job spec and will change the title and look into salary aligned with the title which is great. However, my question is, if they recognise the role has change significantly from my original job spec when the restructure occurred (over a year ago), am I entitled to be paid back salary given they changed the role by stealth (saying there was no change), yet there clearly was. So technically under paying me for that time?
I would like answers based on law please.

Mine is a hot shower. Sure, I like playing roleplaying games and watching stuff on streaming as much as the next guy, but hot water on my skin? That's where it's at. Sometimes you have to appreciate the simple things in life.
There are other things I like, of course. Aside from the aforementioned roleplaying games (see the second half of my username to find out which ones), I'm a big fan of technology, hockey, and animals. I have 2 cats and a bearded dragon, and am happy to share pics of any of them!
I haven't talked about myself professionally yet, and that's because there isn't much to say. I'm still in college, because I took a looong break from it and worked retail for a while because of mental health issues and later the pandemic. I'm in an engineering field and am hoping that'll go well. So no, my shit is not yet together, but when it is together, it'll be REALLY together.
So... politics and religion. Touchy subject which I'm approaching with all the grace of a bull in a china shop, but suffice it to say, I'm an atheist and I'm pretty far to the left. I staunchly refuse to date a conservative (not that they'd be particularly interested in my "child murder" supporting ass anyway), but I honestly don't care if you believe in a higher power, the universe, reincarnation, the flying spaghetti monster, whichever you like. Just keep in mind that I won't believe in them.
Oh, and one other important thing I won't do - reproduce. My bloodline dies with me, as a friend once told me. I don't hate children, though I do feel a certain discomfort around them (was the youngest growing up, never really had to change a diaper or whatever), like I don't know what to say or how to behave. But that's not the main reason I don't want kids. Mostly it's because I have mental health issues that I've been struggling with throughout my life and I think that even if I did want to have kids, it would be selfish of me to pass that on.
Physically, I'm 135 lb, five foot five inches, I have brown hair, blue eyes and I'm white. Picture will be available upon request. I prefer women who are average or slender like me. Oh, and you can be any height, I don't care, I only mention it because you likely do and I don't want an awkward situation where you start talking to me and find out I'm too short for your liking.
Penultimate paragraph. What I'm looking for right now is intimacy of any kind really. Long term would be nice, short term would be perfectly acceptable. I find it difficult to meet people using apps (I'm a 5.5 on a good day, and I know it), and IRL I'm surrounded by 18-22 year olds who are either A) too young or B) have no interest in me.
