2023.06.03 16:21 GauchoSquid Customer wants to return in item however item is as described, arrived not damaged and return window outside of 7 days

I have this person who I bargained a price for a drum machine and got an ABSOLUTE steal with included drum kits. She receives the item and asks very rudimentary questions about music production and the item that leads me to believe she doesn't know what she bought.
She then mentions some minor software bugs that are common with it, seems utterly annoyed by it and now wants to return it or a partial refund. I told her that normally the company does system updates and can fix them.
However, it's past the seven day return window, this person already left positive feedback and item is as described. I tried helping this person a little bit more than I should, but I just wanted to educate her and guide her because it seems like she's new to this and didn't do the research.
This item is worth over hundreds of dollars and I don't want to risk this return, given that she has hundreds of dollars worth of drum kits and just scam me.
I liken this to someone buying a computer as described but the Windows operating system has a bug that glitches the clock or taskbar. Nothing on the part of the seller.
Does anyone have anything they can insight me about Reverb return policy and if this will constitute as a valid return request?

2023.06.03 16:12 ANTDESTROYER93 Hey y'all! Today is my 14th birthday, so I wanna do something special...

Since today is my 14th birthday and almost the 1 year anniversary of my Reddit art career, I want to tell you guys the origin/story of how I became a Reddit artist. This might be a long read, so take as much time as possible to read. Please enjoy!
Part 1 - The Beginning The time was around September to August, and this was when my Reddit account was only a couple of months old. This was also the time I started talking to people like u/fozzie_79. At that time, we had only known each other for barely a few months. We only really talked about SMG4 stuff and things about Melony and Meggy. Eventually, I came up with an idea that will change everything. Before all of this, however, I had a severe obsession with big, poofy dresses. For example, Ariana Grande's Grammys dress, the 2015 reboot Cinderella dress, etc. For a while, I have always considered them as "quinceanera dresses" (the dresses Spanish girls wear on their 15th birthday), since I thought that was the formal/professional name for these ball gowns. So, here was the idea: what if I drew Meggy wearing a big quinceanera dress? I told Fozzie about this, and he LOVED it. So, I then drew her and posted it to churchofmeggy. (You can still find that post on the subreddit btw ;>)
Part 2 - The Early Drawings After posting my first drawing on churchofmeggy, it blew up like crazy. Everyone loved it, and that made me feel really special. So, as a result, I wanted to draw more "Quinceanera Meggy" drawings. This included her twirling, jumping, going into the pool, sitting, "paraskirting," etc. Those drawings blew up as well. (These drawings can also be found and are still up on churchofmeggy)
Part 3 - Going to SMG4 After my posts starting blowing up on churchofmeggy, I then got a suggestion from Fozzie himself. That suggestion was that I should drawing on the official SMG4 subreddit. I really wanted to do it, but I was too scared. This was the official sub, and I don't feel too ready to show off my work on SMG4. Eventually, I got the courage, and drew my first ever drawing on this subreddit: Meggy, Tari, Saiko, and Melony all wearing quinceanera dresses. I was expecting the worst to happen, but surprisingly, it got really popular. A lot of people liked it and made me feel so satisfied for what I done. From that day on, I wanted to do more. I wanted to continue drawing on SMG4.
Part 4 - The Infamous Challenge When it came to what I actually wanted to draw on the subreddit, I had to think really hard to make a creative idea for my drawings. However, I got a brilliant idea. Since at the time I wanted Luke and Kevin to notice my artwork, I made this infamous challenge idea that lasted for months: "Day _ of drawing smg4 girls in quinceanera dresses until smg4 himself makes it canon." From that day on, I have made daily drawings of the girls wearing many dresses, just hoping that Kevin oand Luke recognize my artwork.
Part 5 - The Takedown The time is around November, and I am at least a few months into my infamous challenge. Everything is going great as usual, and my popularity is going off the charts. However, one day when I posted a drawing, it then got taken down by the mods. I was confused, but I was too concerned about it. I thought I did something in the drawing that was considered inappropriate to the mods, so I decided to make my drawing more kid-friendly. Yet the same thing happened, it got taken down. I was even more puzzled, so I messaged the mods seeing what is going on. In response, I didn't get a reply back at all. I was pretty furious and I didn't know what was going on. Eventually, the mods came out with some new rules for the subreddit. These rules included things like no WIPs and that kind of thing. The big problem with this is that these new rules went against my drawings, which was why they were being taken down. So as a result, I had to stop the challenge. There was no other choice.
Part 6 - The Advent Calendar After doing some drawings that were now unrelated to the challenge, the time is now December. Again, I wanted to do something fun, but not like what happened with my previous challenge. I then talked to Fozzie for any ideas what I should do. We brainstormed for a good while until I came up with a nice idea. This idea was known as the SMG4 Fanart Advent Calendar. The idea itself was pretty simple: for every day of the 25 days of Christmas, I do a daily drawing that is both Christmas related and SMG4 related. Fozzie accepted this idea, and I was pretty happy about it. From now on, I was going to do Advent Calendar drawings until Christmas is over.
Part 6 - The Burnout This happened around halfway through the Advent Calendar, and it was extremely painful. While I was doing a drawing, I suddenly started to feel very stressed and exhausted. It then came to a point where I couldn't control myself and I was basically having a mental breakdown. So with all of that stress going through my head, I posted the incomplete drawing. I then explained in the comments section if I should take a break from drawing after doing them for over 100 days straight with no stopping. Thankfully, everyone was very concerned and caring for me, and told me to take a break. And so I did. I took my first ever break from drawing, and I have never been any happier. This break went on for over 2 weeks.
Part 7 - The Return This is now January of this year. I have returned from my long and caring break in the form of a drawing. Everyone was very kind and welcomed my return to drawing. Now I am back at work, and I can do my drawings again. However, I want this to be different from how it was before. I now want my drawings to be done at least every week or so, so I can prevent the burnout incident from happening again. And since I got many art kits this Christmas from my grandfather, I also wanted my drawings to be more higher quality than they ever were. And from then on, I went by my new rules to make sure I am better than how I was.
Part 8 - Popularity Skyrockets After posting a drawing of Meggy being Chell from Valve's Portal, I have gotten a ton of attention. The post got over 200 upvotes, the mods recognized it, everyone was posting comments, etc. After such a big skyrocket, I have realized something. After posting some sketches of Meggy and Melony wearing cute, poofy dresses, those also blew up. I realized I am now popular. I am getting the attention that I always wanted since the beginning. I have became a true Reddit artist. My miracle has came true.
Part 9 - Medi After doing many more successful drawings after my miracle, something incredible happened. After posting my drawing of Meggy wearing a poofy green dress, I have received a notification. The notification said that Medi had followed me on Reddit. Yes, you read that correctly. Medi, one of the editors on SMG4, is now following me on Reddit. That isn't the best thing though. In Medi's video explaining the criticism of SMG4, at the end of the video, he showed off my first ever drawing I had posted on SMG4. This means that my true dream came true. SMG4 "technically" notice me. All of my dreams have came true, and I have became a TRUE, true Reddit artist.
That is my story of how I became a Reddit artist. I really want to thank u/fozzie_79 for everything he has done for me, and being the true reason why I have became the person I am today. Thank you Fozzie, and thank you to every single one of you.
I love you, guys. šŸ’™

Memory Transcription Subject: Tresn, Arxur Defector
Date [Standard Human Reckoning]: 2136-10-22
After the encounter with the disdainful zurulian, Elangkasa led me to another section of the medical complex. We navigated through the makeshift path until we arrived at a building. The painted sign marked this as "Recovery Center".
Inside I found a hive of movement and noise. Humans filled the space and engaged in different activities meant to acclimate them to their prosthetic limbs. Sounds of encouragement and determination echoed in the room. A unique mix of scents filled the air, warm metal, the clinical smell of antiseptic, and the underlying current of human sweat.
One side of the room housed various forms of mobility training. Here, individuals learned to walk again, their new legs carrying them across varieties of terrains from flat platforms to uneven rocky surfaces, all designed to mimic real-world conditions. The patients stumbled, recovered, and started to find their footing.
In a separate section, people sat around tables with an array of tactile puzzles and dexterity tools strewn around. Their faces scrunched in concentration, brows furrowed and lips pursed as they manipulated small objects or practiced precise movements with their acquired hands. The mechanical digits moved with a jerky grace but grew more fluid with each passing moment. A chorus of patient encouragement followed the quiet clinks and clatters of dropped objects.
A human figure clad in the typical uniform of the facility came toward us. An intricate headgear on their head concealed their mane.
"Ah, is this the arxur?" My translator assigned her feminine voice. "Hi, I'm Ida."
"Hi Ida," Elangkasa shared a formal nod with the other human. "This is Tresn."
"Thanks, Coordinator," Ida responded with another nod. "I can handle it from here."
After a quick farewell, Elangkasa left me in the capable hands of Ida. I looked around the bustling hall, my gaze sweeping over the flurry of activity.
"So... this is where you train people to adapt to their new limbs?"
"Yeah. Do you have your prosthesis?" Ida inquired, her voice carrying a professional tone laced with underlying warmth.
"Sure," I responded, reaching for the bag slung over the back of my wheelchair. From its depths, I extracted the mechanical feet.
"Hmm, interesting. This doesn't resemble an arxur foot at all," Ida observed, her dark eyebrows arching as she scrutinized the unconventional prosthetic.
"Indeed, I drew inspiration from your planet's creatures," I replied, a hint of pride slipping into my tone. "You have a species related to your kind, yes? I believe they're referred to as monkeys?"
"I see..." Ida murmured, a thoughtful expression wrinkling her forehead. I felt a slight apprehension in her voice. "But can you control such a thing?"
"Watch this!" Excitement coursed through me as I manipulated the intricate prosthetic. With a flex of my thoughts, the prosthetic responded, the claws moving with surprising fluidity, much like an additional set of hand paws.
"Excellent!" Ida exclaimed, her face lighting up in a wide smile. She clapped her hands together.
With practiced ease, the human-assisted me in attaching the prostheses. She produced a sturdy belt, custom-made to secure the prostheses and ensure they stayed attached. As the weight of my body pressed onto the artificial limbs, I felt a dull throbbing at the ends of my stumps. The sensation felt odd, not quite pain, but rather, a constant reminder of the foreign appendages now attached to my body.
For starters, I had a simple exercise, designed to introduce my body to a new way of movement. I had to walk between two parallel bars. My arms took some of the weight as I grabbed the bar and attempted to maneuver my prosthetic feet. I tried to replicate my usual gait, letting the claws on my new limbs ripple and flex in what I hoped was a natural manner.
However, it became apparent that just manipulating the claws of my prostheses didn't suffice. I needed to master the motion of bending the wrist and ankle analogs, a detail I hadn't considered before. My first steps came out as awkward and clumsy, a far cry from the graceful movements I had imagined.
Our rehabilitation session continued until a sharp, persistent ache at the base of my stumps signaling me to stop. Back in my wheelchair again, I maneuvered my way to the comfort of my assigned habitation unit. With my friends engrossed in their volunteer duties, I only had myself. The silence in the room reminded me back when I had to stay hidden in the camp. In those quiet moments, my thoughts strayed to my predicament, wishing for a rapid recovery that would free me from my solitude and allow me to stand beside my companions, contributing to helping humans.
Amid my reflection, my mind wandered back to a previous interaction with a human acquaintance named Jagomerah. I remembered his offer to meet up if I ever found myself in Purwakarta, prompting me to revisit our old messages on social media.
"Hi there, Jagomerah," I initiated the conversation, my fingers tapping out the words on the screen. "I've made it to Purwakarta, Sector Twelve to be precise."
He sent a swift and enthusiastic response, "No way! Alright, meet me at Sector Ten's plaza at 16:00 then."
"Looking forward to it," I typed back, a flicker of anticipation sparking within me.
As the time neared the fifteenth hour, my human friends returned, their faces flush with the day's exertion. To pass the time while waiting for our remaining companions, we played a game of human cards.
Bolad and Vani appeared a half-hour later, their arrival completing our little circle. With everyone present, I proposed an expedition to Sector Ten and I was met with eager nods and enthusiastic agreement. Thus, our band of six ventured, weaving through the intricate maze of sectors within the camp. I met several arxur on my way, always giving me a look of disapproval. Upon reaching the bustling plaza of Sector Ten, I shot a quick message to Jagomerah, notifying him of our arrival. It didn't take long for our gaze to meet each other.
To my surprise, Snop already knew this Jagomerah person. She referred to him as a "scalie", an apparent misnomer given the absence of any discernible scales on his skin.
A sharp voice cut off our introduction. "Have you no shame?" The words came from the female arxur who had been standing behind Jagomerah. Her eyes glared at me with a chilling reproof. "Wasting resources like this, when others are clinging to life."
Jagomerah, the human with a mane of untamed curls, turned back to meet Lovaz's scathing gaze. "What are you talking about?" he asked. His voice was a gruff contrast to her icy disdain.
With an indignant huff, Lovaz gestured at me, her clawed hand sweeping in my direction. "Look at him! He's nothing more than a drain on society now."
"Lovaz," Jagomerah said in a stern voice. The curly-maned human squared his shoulders and met the arxur's gaze with unwavering defiance. "What do you do to an injured arxur?"
"We do nothing." She snapped, her tail lashing with irritation. "It is the responsibility of the impaired to stop being a burden to our society."
"In human society, it's the responsibility of the society to care for the impaired," Jagomerah retorted, his dark eyes never leaving Lovaz's.
"This weakness," Lovaz spat out the word with such venom, "is why all this happened to you, human."
Jagomerah's gaze hardened. With a swift movement of his left arm, he pulled his armband aside, revealing a metallic ring. His fingers moved over the surface of his arm, found a hidden latch, and with a quick twist, the arm detached. The purpose of his armband became clear to me in that instant. The fabric covered the prosthetic limb's attachment point.
"See this?" Jagomerah held up his detached arm. "This hand can crush your windpipe. Not so weak now, huh?"
Modern arxurs only understood the language of strength and violence. From what I had learned about humans, a display like Jagomerah's could escalate into a fight. Yet the arxur woman just chuckled, her sharp teeth gleaming in a predatory grin. "Okay… I see your point."
"Hey...Tresn wasn't it?" Jagomerah said, his voice had a note of regret in it. I inclined my head in response. "I must apologize for my earlier suspicion."
I looked at his arm, or rather, the empty space where they should have been. "So...uh, what happened to your arm?"
"Well, see, I'm a firefighter," Jagomerah began, his voice steady but tinged with a hint of long-held sadness. The metal arm detached from his body was held in his remaining hand. "When you're fighting a beast of fire, sometimes it bites back. Burning debris can fall, and sometimes it traps someone whose means of escape is for his comrade to make a tough call because the fire is spreading."
As Jagomerah talked, his fingers worked on his mechanical limb. The sight fascinated me, the gleaming metallic end, the intricate design, and the way the parts clicked into place with a satisfying sound. Each movement reflected countless repetitions and a depth of familiarity that looked almost second nature.
His gaze turned to me, a question hanging in the air between us. "What about you? How did it happen?"
"Grenade," I replied, the single word packed with echoes of a past I wasn't quite ready to delve into.
"My shift has started, but I have time before I have to go to Greater Jakarta for the next twenty hours. Maybe I can show you around?"
I looked at Lovaz's whose hard gaze still didn't escape me. I met her glare with a smile, feeling a touch of defiance rise in me.
"Why do you care so much about this defective one?" Lovaz spat.
Jagomerah shrugged "He seemed nice. You don't have to come along with me. Just…reconvene at the meeting point at 18:45"
The tension between us hung palpably in the air as Lovaz lingered, shooting one last look of contempt my way before she walked away, her tail slapped against Jagomerah's leg.
"Well… that was something," Johan murmured. "The arxurs aren't one for much for socialization, are they?"
Feeling an odd kinship with the human, I decided to explain, "The only necessary relationship in the Dominion is between you and the State. Some arxurs would take a mate, but it's always in the service of the State. A mate could keep an eye on you in the field and administer first aid if needed."
"If you have a mate," Vani began. "what would he do if the incident with the farsul happened?"
I looked down at my lap, my scales catching the low light. "He would leave me to die." My voice sounded heavy with a bitter truth.
Everyone fell silent for a moment.
"Let's not dawdle," Jagomerah interrupted, shifting the atmosphere with a few words. "Follow me."
As we moved, I found myself questioning the cyborg. "What are you doing here?"
Jagomerah stopped, turning back to me. "Wait... you do have the concept of disaster relief... right?"
I blinked, my mind racing. "Uh... the closest thing we have is asset recovery," I said, embarrassed. "Your description on social media says you fight the fire, right? Do you put out conflagration?"
"That's right," he walked away again, his mechanical limb gesturing for us to continue following him.
As we moved, Jagomerah began to explain his role. It went beyond just putting out raging fires but it also involved pulling out survivors or bodies, clearing away the debris, and ensuring the remaining structures had enough integrity for rebuilding to commence. Their dedicated work created the foundation on which the rest of the humans could begin reconstructing the city.
After navigating the winding alleys of Sector Ten, we arrived at a prefabricated building near a wide road that allowed for the movement of large vehicles. Indeed, several huge vehicles bordered the building. Jagomerah led us through one of the gates in the building into a cavernous room. Inside, we saw a massive vehicle with dimensions larger than Johan's already big van. Humans moved around it in coordinated chaos, packing the vehicle with an assortment of tools and supplies.
All sorts of rescue gear adorned the walls. Some of them looked familiar to me, hoses coiled, axes with their blades shining under the overhead lights, ladders arranged according to size, and sledgehammers. There were also some that looked more complicated, from the design, I guessed that it uses hydraulics to help prop something or force something to open.
Lockers, each personalized with a human name, added a touch of individuality to the otherwise functional room. The heavy scent of rubber and metal hung in the air. Dominating the far end of the room, a large digital display showcased a detailed map of Greater Jakarta. The multitude of markings and notes told a silent story of planning, strategic thinking, and past operations.
A human woman approached Jagomerah, her greeting a bark, "Hey, Agni!"
Agni? Perhaps that was his other name, just like Snop was also known as Kirani. I found myself a little puzzled, having to familiarize myself with the concept of people using multiple names for everyday social life, not for espionage.
The human's skin was a deeper shade of brown, her hair coiled and secured into a neat bun. Her gaze turned to me, her eyes widening in surprise. "Whoa… what happened to that guy?"
"Grenade," Jagomerah replied, the single-word explanation heavy with unspoken stories.
Her eyes narrowed, "You're not replacing Lovaz with them, are you?"
"No," he assured her, his tone calm and clear. "Lovaz should arrive after breaking the fast. I'm taking this arxur and his friend here to look around."
We introduced ourselves with Johan kicking off the process. When my turn arrived, I said to myself with a touch of embarrassment, "My name is Tresn, right now… I'm not able to contribute."
A man, his face marked by burn scars that halted the growth of facial fur, chimed in, "Of course, you can't. No one in the right mind would ask you to work. Focus on your healing first."
Jagomerah then guided us through the process of their preparation. He explained what each item in the stacks of supplies was for. Besides the collection of essentials like food and water, and medical kits it also featured an impressive array of construction tools. I watched as teams worked together, loading supplies into vehicles, and checking and double-checking their lists. I saw clusters of team members in huddled discussions, their focus on tablets displaying complex documents. I watched them practice procedures, going through the motions of first aid, victim search, debris clearing, and evacuation protocols.
At one point Jagomerah introduced us to one of the drones that would help them. It looked like a human if a human was made out of blocks. The drone excited Johan and Cynthio and the two humans began interrogating the machine.
The buzz of activity that had characterized this place began to fade as the time for meal approached. People moved away from their tasks, converging towards the dining halls, the scent of food replacing the scent of rubber and metal.
Jagomerah and his team brought me towards the carnivore dining hall, a part of the camp designed to accommodate species with diets like us. My roommates, meanwhile, wandered off towards the herbivore hall. There were many arxurs present, and though I could feel their glances on my scarred form, none approached me.
The dining area was divided into two queues. One led to a spread of raw meat where the arxurs could pile their trays high with a selection of proteins. The second queue catered to a more human palate, featuring cooked dishes.
When I joined the line for the human food, Jagomerah looked at me in surprise. But he nodded in approval after I explained that I prefer cooked meat now. He told me that the dish for the night was Rawon, a delicious black soup cooked with a special kind of plant that contains hydrogen cyanide.
"Wait...what?"
"Yeah, but the plant has been processed to remove that toxin away. See... this is why we process food and cook them." He looked at the line of arxurs helping themselves to the blocks of meat. "I can't imagine eating them, so chewy and bland, even our raw meat dishes have seasoning in them."
That remark intrigued me. "Wait, you have raw meat dishes too?"
"Sure, we have-"
"Next!" The human server shouted. Our discussion had made a large gap between us and the last human.
"Okay, let's get this rawon first."
I noticed that the humans also have white plant matter called 'rice' to go with the rawon. For me, I would have just the soup, rich, aromatic, and packed with chunks of meat. To my delight, the meal also came with boiled eggs. Settling down with humans felt different from the stern, disapproving arxur tables back at the fleet. Here, Jagomerah and his team shared jokes, stories, and smiles as we ate. As we tucked into our meals, I shared my own tale, the official version of my crash landing.
Jagomerah listened, his gaze serious. When I finished, he took a moment before speaking. "When Lovaz says… I'm sorry… 'defective'… she's referring to more than just your physical condition, right?" He paused, recalling our earlier conversation. "You said the same to me when we chatted."
"Yeah... us Arxurs aren't supposed to be like... this." I gestured towards myself.
"I'm glad that you're like this," Jagomerah patted my shoulder. I didn't think he said that in pity, but rather understanding, and acceptance.
A soft chiming sound echoed from his wrist, drawing our attention. Jagomerah glanced down at the device strapped around his wrist, his eyes scanning over the display.
"Ah, duty calls," he sighed. I could feel a certain heaviness in his tone. "Our mission is about to start and we'll be in Greater Jakarta for the next twenty-four hours."
"Do what you need, human," I responded, a hint of a smile on my face.
"But feel free to message me, okay?" He proposed. Giving me a chance for us to continue our discussion. Perhaps it could lead to something more, I hoped.
After saying our goodbyes, I watched Jagomerah and his team depart. The herbivore dining didn't expect an Arxur like me and it would cause problems if I popped up there. Instead, I decided to wait in the plaza. I found a quiet corner and parked myself, my mind wandering back to Jagomerah and his team. The brief time I'd spent with them passed, unlike anything I'd experienced before. I felt a sense of acceptance and togetherness that felt...right.
For the first time, I felt like I belonged.

2023.06.03 16:05 ANTDESTROYER93 Hey y'all! Today is my birthday, so I am going to do something special...

I love you, guys. šŸ’™

2023.06.03 15:40 HollowAndPathetic Okay, just want to make it clear about forward throws.

I just wanna emphasis that the game isn't just about throwing offstage and gimping. Like, I get thats usually the most ideal when playing against characters with recoveries that arn't phenomenal, but it's not always the case to go for it.
Take for example my previous post. When I grabbed Dk at the ledge, he was about 79%, right? Now consider this. Doc's bthrow has absolutely no shot at killing dk off the throw alone. It's not that strong and it most certainly won't bother a super heavy too much. Especially one with decent airspeed. And also, Doc's bthrow is diagonal. If DK goes high, he can get back to stage and receive little damage from retaliation, if he plays correctly. Doc doesn't have much range. Now, let's consider about edgegaurding and gimping. Here's a couple things to consider:
  1. Doc has no range on his aerials compared to DK
    1. If I decide to go offstage and hit him, DK has options to hit me away. Fair will outreach and spike. Sideb has armor and would spike. And he will always have a properly timed Nair or upb to get us both back to stage, with me taking damage for free.
    2. Even if I do hit DK, it still won't garuntee a kill. He's a super heavy. Top 3. He could eat on of my aerials and still be able to upb over me while I try to get back to stage.
    3. If I go offstage, I'm putting myself in danger and risking the lead I already had. What would happen if he airdodges corectly? Or if I had to use my double jump? I'm putting myself in a place where DK could pull a reversal. And that's a problem because:
  2. Doc has no recovery. Plain and simple. If I get tapped while I'm offstage, I too will have to fumble to get back. Even if I'm getting hit back. Heavens forbid I get footstooled.
  3. Pills can be worked around. Most likely then not, DK can upb through the pill. Pills are easy to snuff out. Even then, if he plays it well, he could still preserve his double jump, eat the pill, and simply try again. Ofcourse this is assuming his quick thinking and reactive options, but it's possible.
All of this wasting time with no real payoff if it doesn't get the stock. This was 30seconds in and we're both still under 100%. We don't need to speedrun. Just take time and feel things out. I hate it when I run into your typical Falcon, Chrom or Jiggly puff that tries to rush me off the stage. Just play the game, my g. Which brings me to the forward throw. Why did I do it then? Simply because I wanted to focus more on racking more damage on DK and keeping him in disadvantage. It's kinda important to keep a momentum on him, especially as a doc, so trying to keep him in the air and catching his landing/defensive options could net more results. Especially when I can toss my one projectile that I can combo off of for free on hit. And guess what happened, sum bich double jumped back for no reason and sideb'd the pill while landing. With that much endlag, I landed my fair and killed him at 97%. AS A SUPER HEAVY!(dying under 100 on stage is uncommon for them) Because I chose to play it out and see how he reacts, I get a simpler kill without a chance of me being offstage. Doc dub.
With that, I wanna emphasis about forward throws because this wasn't the first time someone called me out for it. I don't see a point of backthrowing, if I dont see myself getting a kill off of it alone or it was send a far distance. Everyone seems to think that Doc's bthrow is nuclear when actually it's still as strong as Mario's, just a different angle. Sure, if it's the lower angle, it could end some stocks quite early, but most of the time it won't. And that just plays off of if I want to go offstage for them or not. Where as I could simply use my forward throw, or the others, instead. When I forward throw, I get stage control(I can get the middle of the stage), advantage(they're in the air and disadvantage), and lowering the staleness of my moves. Even if I didn't forward throw, I could still down throw for my basic 2 hit bnb or upthrow for the previous reasons for forward throw. People forget that there's more moves in these character's kit. Like Luigi's up throw, Doc/Wolf's reflector, Kirby's ftilt, and majority of Fire emblem's counter when they arn't offstage. You don't have to go for the same move over and over again. They implemented staleness SPECIFICALLY for that. Having control over your character's kit is what makes a player and can cause the skill difference in the other. Unless you play No Funner, Spamus, Winwin, Mayonetta in which case you could run that shit like a broken record and still get results.
But for real, I really didn't care too much about that post after the first few comments. And when I woke up and saw how much karma it gotten, I was like because I really didn't expect much out of it. I still ain't looking at the comments because that shit reeks of quickplayers who either blame me for playing doc, complaining about the cargo complaining, or outright didn't find the video entertaining(which is understandable. Except for the fact the ones that said the ending wasn't hype. I SWEAR TO GOD IF HE ACTUALLY AIRDODGED CORRECTLY OR UPB'D, HE WOULD'VE RAN INTO THE SPIKE. NO MAGNET HAND THE EDGE, PURE DEATH. Not muy fault he was bad! Infact it actually supports my point that he was nothing without cargo! You dense motherfuckers, it was almost a 100%+ damage zero to death!) But all that is done and now we go forward(throw) and continue posting clips. Take care and please neuter your Cloud, Sephiroth, and Sora players.

2023.06.03 14:59 Ericthered01 Another 33 inch tire post.

Hello fellow canyon enthusiasts, I have a 2018 All Terrain. From what I can tell it is essentially a Colorado z71. And like many of you fine folks, I want some big knobbies on it. So after the factory warranty vanished like my desire to keep the stock tires, I started the research process. I scoured Reddit posts on both this subreddit and the Colorado one. I looked at forums and YouTube videos, all in an effort to see what I could fit and how to do it. As one could imagine there was quite a bit of contradictory information on if 33ā€ tires would fit or not. So I settled on bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks up front set on the top setting and 5100’s in the back with a 1 inch block. I also purchased the front bracket that moves the fender liner forward, and I followed a cab side trim guide from YouTube to move the back fender liner back and remove some metal around the pinch weld. Then, I got on CustomOffsets and set my vehicle information and chose ā€œleveling kitā€ and ā€œno rubbingā€ just to make sure that what I got would fit. Sure enough, they said I could be put some big boys on there. And I got excited. So I picked up some Reika 17 inch rims. I believe they are 8.5 wide with zero offset. And Falken wild peak at3w, 33 inch tires. They come in and I slap them bad boys on the truck and they look fantastic. I start checking for hot spots by making full turns. I have acreage on the front gap. I turn it the other way, and I’m rubbing all over like a high school dance. And it’s metal. The cab mounting point to be precise. I don’t know if you can grind that part, but I’m not going to. I’m going to drop the tire size and try again.
Moral of the story, don’t rust the internet. Don’t trust the people trying to sell you something. Everyone’s setup is not the same. Sometimes there is no direct answer. I can include links to the YouTube trim video, the front bracket, struts, etc, and I can take pictures of stuff if you guys are interested. I spent a lot of time looking so if this helps anyone I am happy to.
Happy driving!

2023.06.03 14:37 waruyamaZero Another spark test on titanium mod material

Another spark test on titanium mod material
A co-redditor just posted a video of a test with an angle grinder on the wristband of his titanium mod (I call it Ali-G). He saw white sparks flying, which indicates that the material is titanium, but the test was only done on the wristband, because he had some spare links, but no spare-bezier :)
I did another test with a Dremel and a sanding drum. Due to the small size of the drum, I was able to work on the inside of the Ali-G bezel where damage will not be visible. Sparks flew on the wristband link and on the bezel, and the color looked the same. I tried the same on a stainless steel screw and a piece of aluminium profile, and on both there were no sparks at all. From the weight of the bezel I think we can rule out that is is steel, and on aluminium there should be no sparks, so yeah, the Ali-G actually seems to be made of some sort of titanium alloy!

2023.06.03 14:25 Icy_Exchange111 Upgrade just arrived

This is the GT400M1D1 combo. It's $740 at Home Depot, but got this same "exclusive" kit at Tools Plus for $600 and they even threw in an extra 4ah battery!
I actually bought a Milwaukee combo first, but was disappointed with trigger sensitivity. My old Makita impact has served me so well I might frame it..
These tools are so nice. Looking forward to migrating my older corded tools as the 40v's get released.
It was also a pleasant surprise to find this reddit channel, love seeing all your posts.
YAY NEW TOYS.

2023.06.03 14:15 onlyich Is it normal for a Drum-Module to produce a lot of Buzzing Noise? (Headphones + Speakers)

Hello:)
I hope this doesn't sound like a stupid question, but is it normal for drum-modules that the module sounds are drowned by the drumstick hitting the drums? And do these edrum modules produce a lot of buzzing noise (or static noise)? I mean the same kind of background self-noise you'll get while recording your voice with a microphone? I've been using a MPS-850 and it happens every time I turn up the volume. I need to put the volume control to nearly maximum to hear the drums clearly enough. If I keep the volume low the sounds are way to quiet and are drowned by my sticks hitting the e-drum kit / drums. I already tried different headphones. A "normal" Headphone from Razer, a In-Ear from Apple and a "real" drummer headphone by FAME from Musicstore. But the problem stays the same. It's way to quiet to hear the drum-sounds from the module unless I turn up the volume to nearly maximum. But then I always get this annoying buzzing noise. It even happens when I connect the module to my speakers via L/Mono Output. So the headphone jack itself doesn't seem to be the problem. Am I having a faulty Drum-Module here? Should I return the MPS-850?

TWBS Previous Next
-
--- Hr3101m973S’s perspective---
---Tuesday, 31st of October, 2682 Terran Calendar---
---Southwestern Scotland---
I ride the speeder at an altitude of 307m over the rural landscape.
I have 158 other bodies making similar deliveries across Britain right now, as well as 29 in Ireland and 11 in Doggerland. Though, none of them have quite as spectacular a view as this one does so, for the moment, this is the body whose sensory feed I’m paying the most attention to.
I see a large herd of mammoths walking at the edge of the Galloway Forest.
Though it has a better view, the news I’m carrying with this body is just as grim as all the rest.
In hindsight, it’s probably a good thing that I was such a spendthrift with regard to my fleet of courier bodies… If I hadn’t been, if I’d selected abilities that let them do much more than deliver things, they may well have been requisitioned for military use… which, I suppose, they were anyway… but there’s a big difference between delivering notices on Earth and fighting on some distant planet!
Still, if sacrificing my replaceable bodies would save even a single irreplaceable life, I would definitely have done it.
The city comes into view.
Calling it a ā€˜city’ may be a little generous… it only has 2,507,963 inhabitants.
That may have been a respectable city in the 22nd Century but, for context, nearby Dumfries has 7,491,509 and Glasgow has 24,339,192!
Stranraer occupies a rare middleground between the historic hamlets that are allowed to exist in the countryside and the megalopoleis where around 98.32% of people on Earth live.
I land in the northern part of the town and step off my speeder.
I get some raised eyebrows as I walk from the landing pad to the residential home.
I don’t blame them!
Before the War, every single one of my courier bodies had a full suit of elastomer over their entire body, to make them seem more lifelike… Now, though, that’s considered a luxury and, so, this particular unit is walking around with its metal endoskeleton bare, bar its uniform.
The effect can be a little offputting… though, in truth, it may also have to do with the news they’ve inferred me to be delivering to some unlucky soul.
I cross the wall into the garden and begin walking up the steps, through the mosslawn shrouded by pinus sylvestris trees, to the house on top of the little hillock.
It takes me 12 seconds to reach the door from the gate… I can’t rush, I need to give this girl her due respect.
I rap on the door 3 times and hear the knocks echo through the cavernous hall behind.
A man opens the door.
I begin, speaking in the most popular local dialect of Lallans Scots that I know to be this man’s primary speech register ā€œGreetings, Mr Baird. I don’t know if you remember me butā€¦ā€
ā€œI remember you! I’m organic, not daft! You’ve been here enough times alreadyā€¦ā€ interrupts the residential care manager, his demeanour gruff and no-nonsense ā€œā€¦Come in, Hermes… You can wait in the kitchen while I go get her.ā€
I step into the building, passing below the lowest of 5 balcony walkways into an open space with a skylight ceiling, allowing in the natural light.
I let the man lead the way to a large kitchen.
He pulls out a chair for me.
ā€œThank you, Sir, but I believe I ought to remain standing to make this delivery.ā€ I respond, politely.
ā€œSuit yourselfā€¦ā€ he shrugs before walking off, presumably to fetch the girl he knows I’m here for.
I wait several minutes before he reappears.
The girl he has in tow is the perfect match of the file photo (though a few years older). She is average height, 178cm, and has an average build. Her skin is pale, her eyes are emerald green and her hair is long, absurdly voluminous, curly and vividly red.
She looks to be in fine physical health and is making no pretence of illness or injury, though she is scowling at me.
The grey bearded man shuts the door, leaving me alone with the girl.
ā€œCould you tell me your name, please?ā€ I ask, already knowing.
ā€œEsme Reid.ā€ she answers, truculently.
ā€œAnd your date of birth, Ms Reid?ā€
ā€œ31st of October, 2664. Come to give me a birthday present, have you(?)ā€ she says, folding her arms, pursing her lips and looking away to the kitchen counter by the window.
ā€œThank youā€¦ā€ I say, reaching into my bag to withdraw a letter and a large holopad with a stylus attached.
I hold the letter out to her and say ā€œThis is your conscription notice, Ms Reid. Please sign receipt of it here.ā€ indicating the holo.
Her eyes flick from the paper to the screen before she drily answers ā€œI don’t suppose, if I don’t take that or don’t sign for it, that’d mean I couldn’t be drafted, would it(?!)ā€
I shake my head and respond ā€œI’m afraid that no such loophole exists, Ms Reid… If you have a conscientious objection to fighting, you could request a nonmilitary national service. However, you would be asked to provide some proof of your conscientiousness andā€¦ā€
ā€œI’m no bleeding heartā€¦ā€ she says, snatching the letter from my hand, irritably ā€œā€¦I’ll sign for my bloody death warrant!ā€ scrawling her name on the pad.
Without looking at the pad, I check the signature she provided against the one on file and find it a close enough match to proceed.
ā€œThank you, Ms Reid. Please report to your local recruitment office in Stranraer within 14 days for your physical and psychological fitness assessments. They’ll then interview you regarding your preferences for training and deployment and they’ll try to take those into account when assigning them.
ā€œGreat(!) Maybe if I can convince my evaluator that I’m cracked enough in the head, I won’t get sent off to die like my mam and dad did(!)ā€ she quips, sarcastically.
ā€œI don’t think you’ll have much luck with that strategy, Ms Reid… Sol’s government have had quite the interest in weeding out malingerers these past few years… I would put the odds of success below 1%.ā€ 0.75619902%, actually, but that’s too many decimals for most biologicals’ patience(!)
She frowns up at me and demands ā€œI’m being such a brat about this… Why are you still being so friendly!?ā€
I laugh ā€œMs Reid, though I strongly encourage you not to express the same demeanour to your drill instructors as you are with me, you are far from the worst person I’ve delivered this news to in even the last half hour!… Right now, I’ve got a draftee in Leeds who’s explaining a hairbrained scheme involving unethically cloning a replacement to fight in his stead, I’ve got one in Bristol who’s trying to beat up my body but only really succeeding in hurting herself, I’ve got one in Edinburgh that’s run away in an attempt not to be served… by comparison, a bit of scowling and sarcasm is rather tame!ā€
ā€œHuh!… Guess I’m not quite the bad girl Ms. Larch always told me I was, am I(!)ā€
ā€œIt seems you shall simply have to work harder(!) I believe there is a leather jacket emporium in Stranraer that still does businessā€¦ā€
She smiles and laughs for the first time that I’ve seen.
That’s the real reason I don’t get touchy about the attitudes expressed to me by draftees: It makes my job so much easier when I soften the blow with good manners and good humour.
As unfair as it is that so many choose to shoot the messenger, it’s understandable when you consider the messages I carry.
ā€œMs Reidā€¦ā€ I start, seriously but softly ā€œā€¦if you truly do not wish to fight, you know there are alternatives? You can discuss them with your recruitment officer butā€¦ā€
ā€œI got no special skills, Hermes… Nothing I can do that an AI couldn’t do faster and better… The Merchant Navy’s basically as dangerous as the Navy Navy, just less armed… the Humanitarian corps has a waiting list so long that the War’d be over (one way or another) long before they got to the point of considering me… I know where I’m going… no use in fighting itā€¦ā€
ā€œAlright, Ms Reid… I wish you the bestā€¦ā€ I say, turning to leave.
Mr Baird shows me out of the house.
Rather than walking back to the landingpad, to retrieve my bike, I walk the other way.
My bag is still heavy with conscription notices… it only makes sense to deliver all the ones in this town first…
---Oskar’s Perspective---
---Southern Doggerland---
The evening sun plays off of the calm waves of the North Sea.
It should be raining on a day like this…
This gorgeous weather is slapping me in the face and telling me to be happy, to be content…
I know the weather does not care for the happenings of people… I know that, if it rained everywhere and every day there was a funeral, the whole world would flood… I know this… and still… I hate this contrast between my grim, internal misery and the tranquil sun drenched beach where I stand, this autumn day… There’s barely even any snow on the grass…
When this War started, I was fourteen and had two loving parents…
My Father was too old to serve, at 51…
At 37, my mother was not…
Yet, it’s not my mother’s funeral I am attending right now. That was two months ago.
No… the strongly built 55 year old man, dressed in a long white robe and clutching a Norse langsverư, despite having been a fishfarmer and not a warrior, is my father… Lars ā€˜Walker’ Taylor.
His eyes are closed and he lies within a wooden boat, around 80cm wide and 3m long.
This boat was never meant to touch the water… I bought it from a supplier in Bankland that specialises in funerary boats for Doggerland’s Forn Siưr community.
I already recited a poem… there’s nothing else for me to do until the singer begins.
I’m not listening to the Goưi prattle on about Valhalla and Ragnarƶk… I’m just looking at my father’s face… oscillating between hating him for doing this to me and hating myself for doing this to him.
The sermon concludes and a blonde woman, like everyone else present, dressed in snow white funeral clothes, steps forward.
One of the three men behind her brings his bow to the three strings of his tagelharpa, another raises a flute carved out of a cow’s leg bone to his lips, the last begins banging out a slow beat on his drum.
The band would definitely be larger if so many of the Hof’s musicians hadn’t been called up to serve.
The men begin playing a mournful tune and the woman begins a wailing, melismatic melody, not in English, the first language of most here, not in my father’s native Frisian, not even in New Norse, the liturgical language of his faith…
She sings in a strain of Norwegian that was spoken centuries ago, when there were barely any Forn Siưr practitioners living.
mf♫ Eg songane sĆøkte
Eg songane sende
DĆ„ den djupaste brunni
Gav meg drƄpar sƄ ramme
Av Valfaders pant♫mf
I have a final part to play in this ritual.
The Goưi picks up the torch and lights it against a flaming brazier before beckoning to me.
I step forward from the small crowd.
In contrast to most, whose clothes are pristine white robes and tunics and such, I wear the same simple white suit that I wore two months ago.
I may be a nonbeliever but no one at my father’s Hof challenged the idea that I was the most fitting person to perform this last rite for him.
I take the torch from the man and walk to my father’s side.
I hesitate before I touch it to one of the mounds of high energy, smokeless fuel that surround his body… but only for a moment…
The flame quickly takes and, before the current verse of the song is even finished, the entire boat is engulfed in fire.
I toss the torch in and step back from the conflagration.
Minutes pass as I watch the inferno consume the entire pyre.
I barely notice the music stop.
I barely notice the crowd thinning as people leave.
I just watch as the man’s existence is wiped from the Earth.
ā€œHave you thought about what you’re going to do now, brother?ā€ asks a voice from beside me.
Without looking at the Pagan cleric, I dully answer ā€œI have.ā€
ā€œAnd, what is that… if I may ask?ā€
ā€œMy birthday’s in January… I’ll be drafted… but I don’t have to wait… I’m going to go to the recruitment office and request an early start to my training… by the time it’s done, I’ll be 18 and they’ll be legally able to deploy me.ā€
ā€œI… see… that’s certainly… an option… Have you thought about…?ā€
ā€œI haven’t, Tormund. This is what I’m doing.ā€ I state, still looking at the blaze.
ā€œI see… I wish you well then, Oskarā€¦ā€ Tormund says, sincerely.

While a regular dopp kit may be sufficient for most trips, a water-resistant dopp kit is essential for any traveler. Water-resistant dopp kits are designed to protect your toiletries from water damage. This is especially important if you are traveling to a destination where there is a lot of moisture, such as a beach or a rainforest.

The Benefits of a Water-Resistant Dopp Kit

There are many benefits to using a water-resistant dopp kit when traveling. Firstly, it ensures that your toiletries are protected from water damage. This means that you don't have to worry about your shampoo leaking all over your clothes. Secondly, it is easy to clean. If your dopp kit gets dirty, you can simply wipe it down with a damp cloth. Finally, it is durable. Water-resistant dopp kits are made from high-quality materials that are designed to withstand the wear and tear of travel.

Choosing the Right Water-Resistant Dopp Kit

When it comes to choosing a water-resistant dopp kit, there are a few things to consider. Firstly, you want to make sure that it is the right size for your needs. If you are only going away for a weekend, you may only need a small dopp kit. However, if you are going away for a longer period of time, you may need a larger dopp kit. Secondly, you want to make sure that it is made from high-quality materials. Look for a dopp kit that is made from waterproof or water-resistant materials, such as nylon or polyester. Finally, you want to make sure that it is easy to pack. Look for a dopp kit that is compact and lightweight, so that it doesn't take up too much space in your luggage.

2023.06.03 12:18 Nice-Help-4725 Missing Taylor's style, sound and vocals

I miss everything about Taylor.
Josh's drums and cymbals just don't fit the Foo sound for me. His toms are too punchy, snare tuned too high, cymbals too bright. Clear heads and Paiste Cymbals.
Taylor's Gretsch kits with coated heads sounded amazing to me, so warm. Zildjian cymbals, same thing, warm.
I feel that Josh's sound doesn't fit in well with the rest of the band. Warm coming from the band and bright an punchy coming from Josh's kit.
As far as the album goes, I love Taylor's style and sound much better than Dave's.
I realize this is a different band now and I'm happy that they can continue. I just like the way it was, now Get Off My Lawn 😜
Just one man's opinion. šŸ˜ŽšŸ„

2023.06.03 11:56 nicknamenik Hardline Water Cooled 5.5L Build

Hardline Water Cooled 5.5L Build
https://i.imgur.com/bFXJZCy.jpg
Prelude: I've written the original build summary around seven months ago, but since it kept failing, I almost scrapped the idea, until I found the Bykski compression fittings, which saved this project and I barely managed to finalize it. The different iterations this build went through are described in the picture below. I slightly tweaked and edited my original summary, adding new benchmark results, but mostly left the original build process summary intact. Enjoy.
https://i.imgur.com/edktZv1.jpg
In the last couple of years, ever since I discovered the mini-ITX craze, I've been toying around with the idea of building the smallest SFF water cooled PC. I first started with the dual mini AIO mod in a K39 case, then made the original "No Space Wasted" build using the Alphacool Eisbaer LT in a custom loop with soft tubing. And recently I completed the A09 water cooled build. At that point I thought I was done, but deep down, I always wanted to try a mini-ITX full hardline loop and so this dream became a reality, although it proved to be quite an ordeal.
I will list out the specs first before going into the build process: -ASUS ROG STRIX X570-I GAMING -Ryzen 5 5600 -Modultra LOBO Low Profile Water Block (Alphacool Liang DDC310 Pump) -PNY NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB XLR8 -Bykski N-GY3060XJ-X GPU Water Block -Syscooling AS160 Aluminum Radiator -Freezemod LSJ-ZNR Digital Flowmeter -KLEVV BOLT X 16GB kit (8GB x2) 3600 MHz -Crucial P1 1TB NVMe SSD -MF 650F 1U Flex PSU -D21 Case (old version)
https://i.imgur.com/PZP4aoN.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/kzTsZO4.jpg
I started with my old components from the original "No Space Wasted" build, only upgrading from 2060 to 3060. My first hurdle was trying to find a suitable water block+pump combo, since nothing that sold on the market fit in my case. This is when I stumbled upon the SFF.Network forum and discovered the existence of the Modultra LOBO. Not only did it fit perfectly with a few millimeters to spare, but it also has a neat feature of cooling the pump using the loop thanks to its full metal block design.
https://i.imgur.com/KbdreDh.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/N6wlqHS.jpg
Since I used dual 80mm copper rads last time, I found them to be not that great for optimal water flow, so I decided to risk it and go with an aluminum 160mm rad, which was the only rad that could fit. Simply strapping 80mm fans in a conventional way couldn't be done due to space constraints, so I first created the GPU fan style prototype. It was functional but didn't look great, so I opted for a better solution instead.
https://i.imgur.com/HFGCr3A.png
https://i.imgur.com/S3rxptI.jpg
I acquired smaller 70mm PWM 6000 RPM fans, cut small grooves into the corners and basically wedged it in between the fins and the fan mounting points on the rad, essentially creating a toolless fan installation. This also worked out great for airflow, since the fans were now almost fully contacting the fins, limiting air leakage. I realize that this way the fans could potentially deform or possibly melt if the rad gets hot enough, but I've been running multiple stress test hours on end and I've yet to see any damage. Hopefully that won't happen, since this machine will only be used for editing and gaming.
https://i.imgur.com/2ykwYuR.png
And so, I completely assembled the first iteration of the system, pressure tested and filled the loop. I previously used the Liquid Utopia from PrimoChill, but after running it in the previous soft tubing version of the build, it accumulated algae just after six months, despite no presence of mixed metals in the loop, so I decided to try PrimoChill's True clear fluid this time. That was a mistake...
https://i.imgur.com/AeWkMOb.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/CEJBqrS.png
This is what happened after running it for a few days. It gradually got worse, ultimately turning into this milky consistency and staining everything in the loop. Now, to be fair, PrimoChill strongly advises against using this liquid in a loop with mixed metals, but I hoped it would last longer than a week... Apparently, the reaction was almost immediate. Unfortunately, I had to completely disassemble the entire thing, deep clean all the components and this time I opted for the best liquid for mixed metals I know: Antifreeze. I bought a basic car antifreeze premixture and diluted it further, about 85% distilled water to 15% antifreeze.
I initially wanted to use PETG tubing for the runs, but ultimately decided to try copper ones. The rest is built using various types of fitting extensions. I really tried implementing as much of the tubing as I could, unfortunately there was not enough room and I was not trusting myself to make copper tubing bends. However, after the loop failed twice, I swapped the chrome plated copper tubes to pre-bent matte black copper tubes and switched all the fittings in the loop from standard Barrow triple o-ring hardline fittings to Bykski compression fittings with one large rubber gasket that tightly grips the tubing, insuring there's no slipping. I've tested both Alphacool and EKWB o-ring type compression fittings in a makeshift hardline test loop using both matte black and chrome plated copper tubes and both eventually slipped and failed, while the Bykski single rubber gasket never failed both in testing and in the final build.
Finally, I want to share some benchmarking data and temps.
https://i.imgur.com/NaOTpos.png
Idle temps are relatively basic, the T_sensor temp is a probe I have embedded into the pump housing to monitor its temp. As you've seen, I have a digital flow rate which also shows the water temperature in the loop and the idle water temps hover at around 34/36c. CPU at 39/42c. GPU at 34/36c. Finally, the pump is at around 38c.
https://i.imgur.com/eTIANkU.png
https://i.imgur.com/3wQyvX2.png
https://i.imgur.com/TqzVNm3.png
Stress testing the system has the GPU max out at around 73c and the CPU reaches 95c, while the water temperature hovers around 57c. I did undervolt both the GPU and CPU slightly and I think the little 160mm radiator is doing its best cooling 270 watts. This is an unrealistic use case though and the system runs a lot cooler and draws way less power while doing mundane tasks like editing or gaming. I've also included some 3DMark scores, for those who are curious.
https://i.imgur.com/S2JdJuD.png
Here is Resident Evil 4 Remake, running 1080p high/max settings. The CPU doesn't exceed 80c and the GPU stays at a nice 71c. The tiny 70mm fans obviously ramp up at this point, but aren't running at 100%, so theoretically I could lower the temps even more, but the fan noise would definitely start being an issue.
https://i.imgur.com/Zj1iJd4.jpg
Last thing I did after completing the final revision of the build was replacing the acrylic side panels with custom mesh dust filters held by magnetic strips. I think it looks much nicer and actually helps the system stay much cooler.
In conclusion, this was a long and complicated journey, full of failures and struggles, but I did manage to finally finish another pointless crazy project of mine. Stay tuned for my next (arguably the craziest one yet) build, which involves a certain SFF GPU that I finally got my hands on and I can't wait to get started on that project!

2023.06.03 11:52 Wiseildman Legendary sample packs

While digging for dnb samples on reddit, I've noticed that there are some packs that get mentioned a lot and seem to have an almost legendary status. Packs like these are for example the Jungle Warfare packs and some Musicradar drum break packs. Although the original links are down and the packs can no longer be purchased, there are still a lot of people sharing /asking for download links.
What other sample packs are concidered "legendary"?

2023.06.03 11:21 ImSimpleGuy [Gen 9 OU] Maximum Carnage! A guide on Trick Room playstyle for Gen 9 OU (Warning Thesis level Long Post)

So Pokemon Home just dropped and you the reader really want to just smash the entire metagame with cocaine bear. Well I got your back with some heat TR teams. Unlike my last post, this time I will be posting a lot of teams so if you don't like a random redditor rambling about a niche playstyle and just want the team in question well...

TLDR :

https://pokepast.es/cc649b55771109b0 (Reached top 200 in Gen 9 OU)
If you are reading this post post Ursaluna ban, well too bad. I will post TR teams without Ursaluna and Magearna in the future so lookout for that or just replace Ursaluna with Glastrier. Use Cinderace to keep hazards off field and use Torkoal and Ursaluna to delete stuff. Use Iron Hands as late game sweeper once the unawares have been dealt with.
Now for the long post to begin :

Pick your Trick Room Team:

If you are new to Trick Room playstyle, you might want to refer to my previous post or at least the TLDR part of it so you are aware of the limitations of Trick Room playstyle. Now below are the three teams sorted by level of skill and metagame awareness required to play (explanations given below):

Threats to TR teams :

Now that we have established the threats lets explore the above teams.
Beginner :
Intermediate:
Advanced:
Team for Absolute Chads:
If you have read this far, I would like to sincerely thank you for taking an interest in TR playstyle. With Ursaluna still in the tier, TR teams can easily demolish their way to the top. Semi-TR are honestly easier to pilot but I am a TR enthusiast so I go all in. Personally I would like to see magearna and cheap-pao banned before Ursaluna goes. (Also who at GF thought about giving Urshifu Swords Dance ? Really I just want to have a talk thats all.)
Beyond Ursaluna, its still possible to reach the top using a TR team although a lot of creativity and skill is required (Bax + Regidrago come to mind to pressure the fairies. I am still working on it). Unless Uxie is getting banned to Ubers, Trick Room is finally a viable strategy in Gen 9 OU.

2023.06.03 10:59 autisticeveryday Ajuda com amplificador

Bom dia,
