I know a lot of brides wear a special robe or pj's when they're getting ready but that's usually when they have the hair & makeup artists come to them in a bridal suite or hotel room etc. Do I just wear normal clothes to get mine done at a salon? I know this might be a stupid question and something that doesn't really matter but it's bugging me lol.

2023.06.02 16:15 strssdnblssd What now/how should I tone this?
 | I don’t have any before pictures but this is after 2 (spaced out) bleach baths and 3 failed toning attempts. Previously was super faded salon dyed copper with super faded box dyed auburn. The first attempt I used the T18 I bought pretty much knowing it wouldn’t help because it wasn’t lifted enough. After that I tried T11 which also didn’t do much because I am sure I wasn’t lifted enough for that either. After this second bleach bath, I used T15 but no dice. My hair still feels super healthy and I haven’t had any breakage but I am not looking to push that by doing any more lightening any time soon. At this point, I just want a more natural looking color- ideally in the blonde range but if I have to color over it, I will. I’m going to try some purple shampoo/conditioner but I’m not sure that will be enough. This is natural lighting but my phone definitely color corrected it as it’s much more gold/brassy in person. Hi guys, wanting to dye my hair coraline / electric blue but my hair is a dark brown and i wanted to lighten it without damaging it but it looks like i’m going to have to bleach. I found Blondeme Premium lift 9+ Powder brightener, can I use this with Borthe Professional Creme developer? I’m considering getting it in 30 vol but i’m aware this is really high and I have curly hair, i worry about it being completely fried but i don’t know another alternative. Also this is why I can’t go to salons near me because they aren’t experienced with my hair type at all, and don’t trust themselves dealing with my hair with the inexperience. i’ve bleached myself before and it was fine.

My hair has been very badly damaged to the point where it’s breaking off, and is very elastic and gummy when wet. It’s in super bad condition. I went to the hairdresser a couple of days ago and got a good bit chopped off, she cut as much as she could without giving me a very short hairstyle, and gave me a protein treatment.
Are there any at home protein treatments that I can get to help my hair? The salon that I went to is not in the country that I live in, she recommended going back every couple of weeks to do the treatment but unfortunately I can’t do that.
Please keep in mind that I’m in Ireland and can’t get many US products as they are not available to me :(

I've been really struggling with washing my hair recently, and haven't had a good wash day in a very long time (other than wash/cut at hairdressers). Every time I use shampoo, it seems to make my hair super heavy and impossible to style. I've tried different shampoos (clarifying, cheating) but they all seem to have this annoying effect. It's like shampoo is absorbing into my hair and not rinsing out...
I assume it must be something to do with technique in how I'm washing my hair, but I've tried copying what they do at a salon and it's still the same. I've also thought it could be due to our house having quite hard water, yet I don't really have a means of testing washing with less hard water so can't confirm.
Anyone had a similar issue? Or can suggest a possible cause? Hope this is enough information! Thanks!
