Hi there, cisfem here.
When I was 12 (body changing, hormones raging, etc.) I began feeling deeply towards women. I developed an immense crush for this girl Sam. She had fully come out at 14. We would take the same bus to school and eventually started talking…hanging out..leading to holding hands and kissing. It was the most true I had ever felt. I’m tearing up writing this, ugh. My mom found out and accused me of our relationship, leading to her slamming on the brakes in the car saying “you are too young to know how you feel”.
I had to hide our “friendship” from my mom. And then whatever feelings I felt towards exploring my sexuality afterwards. Then I just completely stopped dating women. Thinking dating men would be more conventional. Acceptable. And since then I have felt this immense shame. And guilt. I’m 26 now. And I’ve tried dating men and it has always been an absolute eyeroll. Jesus Christ.
Realizing now for the past 14 years I’ve blocked out a feeling I know I have. And as I’m getting older it’s as if the voice is getting louder. I don’t know where to turn, I’m not even sure. I feel scared. I want to get rid of this layer of shame. That moment with my mom shocked me. And it’s changed such a core aspect of how I feel about my own emotions and feelings.
If anyone has had a similar experience, where would you suggest I begin? Are there books on this? Or groups that help talk about feelings?
Thank you for your time ❤️

2023.06.02 23:53 onZEEdaily Overthinking & replaying scenarios in my head!?!?
I have such a difficult time with overthinking and replaying scenarios in my head. It can be as simple as a sentence that I say to somebody or a full conversation we have. I always find myself repeating and questioning all the things I’ve said. It is so much worse if the conversation is through text and the person doesn’t reply to me right away! I go into the assumption that what I’ve said is dumb, offensive, or not helpful. I end up not being productive or engage social because my brain is so focused on this! What can I do?!

2023.06.02 23:53 exacteve Level Bolt - Auto Unlock DELAY = Annoying
I recently installed the Level Bolt.
I love the idea of walking up to my door with the lock Auto Unlocking!
BUT.. There seems to be a long delay. I literally have to stand in front of my door for 20-60 seconds waiting for the door to unlock. Which is annoying. That 20-60 seconds doesn't even include the time that it takes for me to manually unlock my iron gate that is 15ft away from my front door. If it was not for that, I would be standing in front of my door even longer!
That said.. Everything else seems to work fine..
Anyone have the same issue or have a fix for the issue?
Im on iPhone 12:
I have Location set to Always
I have Boost Range ON
I have Background Refresh ON
I have Low Power Mode OFF

2023.06.02 23:53 No_Nothing_8692 are they really my friends?
Well, I have a friend group since I was 14 (I'm 19), and I have a friend. Actually, I had a friend who is very negative towards me he thinks that all of his problems come from me، We had a few clashes in the past, but I never thought about ending my friendship with him I mean we are friends for 5 years and i didn't wanted to .
Last summer, I found out about hamza and started my self-improvement، I went to the gym, and I didn't have any time to play video games with them. I was meditating, reading, and life was good .
In fall, my friends told me that I ruined their summer, and by not playing those video games that I wasted 4 years of my life on . I offended them .
At the same time . we both got into university, he went to a far city, and I went to my own city. He failed the first semester and started smoking cigarettes, and he said that I was the reason behind it . I wanted to make him feel better, and just like hamza always says, we need to help our tribe so I let him join me and my classmates when we went to have dinner or other activities.
We had a pick-me girl that he fell in love with. She rejected him, not having any boundaries. She buys him gifts and flerts with him and talks shit behind my back with him, yet she always talks about finding a boyfriend when he is not around.and him not having any self-respect keeps simping for her .
One day, that was her birthday, and they went to a cafe without telling me at night in a small group chat of ours they wished her hb and those things and I sent her my regards . Suddenly my friend starts talking shit that how could you forget her birthday and .....
I had enough of him and his bitch so I said I don't give a fuck about her birthday she didn't even invited me . He went crying to one of our friends that he offended me and my girlfriend tell him to apologize .
So I'm asking you whatc should i do ? Should i continue my friendship with my old friends or just as hamza said they are not my friends?

2023.06.02 23:53 NoahBishop1979 I really didn’t want to do this
Alright, so since he continues to lie about anything and everything, and my daughters are on TikTok, I’m now in a position where I feel like me not responding is no longer tenable.
My name is Noah Bishop, and I married Wyatt’s mom Laura, on 6/30/2002 in Las Vegas, NV and we were separated in May of 2011 and our divorce was finalized in May of 2016 in Chatsworth, Ca. Wyatt was 3 when I met and married Laura. All of that is public record, and you can confirm it if you would like.
During the marriage Laura and I had two sons together named Malcolm, now 16 and Gavin, now 20.
First off, I want to address the statement Wyatt made about Laura and I hanging out. For Mother’s Day Laura asked to have her disassembled pool table assembled with new bumpers and felt. I played a lot of pool in my younger years and was happy to help the boys do this for their mom. The assertion that I was there for two weeks is absolute bullshit. Wyatt flew in on a Friday night, and the next day(the day before Mother’s Day) I went over and with Malcolm and Gavin completed the pool table. Laura is my EX-wife, and since our divorce we have both remarried, and I am extremely grateful that since our divorce we have found the ability to co-parent successfully. But that’s all it is. Derrick(Laura’s new husband) is a great, hard working guy, and I am genuinely happy for them
Regarding my drug use, I am a recovering addict, but the nature of my addiction has been grossly overstated. I have never even seen heroin in real life. My DOC was opiate pain pills that I got from Doctor’s. Shady doctors who overprescribed, but still I took prescribed pain pills. This began because I had bilateral knee injuries, and my job requires me to stand for 14-18 hours a day. To be clear I was still an addict, but I wasn’t shooting heroin as Wyatt would like you to believe. Also, I have been clean for 12 years, since around the time Wyatt was 13.
Regarding Wyatt being abused, as all of you can see Wyatt actively avoids taking responsibility for his choices as well as their ensuing consequences. I have always believed in natural consequences. Like as a small child Wyatt once repeatedly said that he “hated black people”. The natural consequence to me was to show him what it was like to be judged based on the way he looks, so I dressed him up in the most ridiculous looking outfit I could muster and made him go out in public. But as Wyatt got older he resisted consequences more and more, avoiding responsibility for the choices he made. So yes, over time a separation between he and I developed as I focused on my two sons who would listen to me, and who would be accountable for their choices and actions. I made it clear that every relationship has good and bad, or with a parent consequences and rewards. Wyatt made it clear that he felt he was entitled to the rewards and exempt from the consequences, so I recused myself from the situation. This could be viewed as a form of abuse, but I genuinely tried to get Wyatt to meet me in the middle as a child and he steadfastly refused. Did I make him do yard work? Yes. Did he get grounded? Yes. Did he deserve it? Fuck Yes. Last, it’s funny he says I abused him for 12 years because I lived with him for less than 9, and the final straw was when he got caught ditching school one day he did his best to beat the shit out of his mom.
Regarding Wyatt’s biological father Billy. Wyatt is NOT Jamaican, and has NEVER been to Jamaica. Wyatt is 100% white. When Laura left Billy he still had a truck AND all of his tools. I know this because he helped me with some electrical work in the summer of 2003. Shortly after that Billy was drawn into his families cycle of addiction with Meth and became homeless. Wyatt used his fathers homelessness and addiction as a way to generate sympathy, pity, and avoid consequences. He would play the “well if I had a dad that loved me, I wouldn’t have done it” card. He milked his dads situation for every possible benefit he could. That’s not to say it wasn’t traumatic for him, just that he was VERY capable at turning lemons into lemonade. You can draw your own conclusions.
In ending, if you have questions about ME, who I am, or my past I am happy to answer them. I will NOT answer a single question about Wyatt because he doesn’t deserve the attention he gets, and I will NOT be a part of it.

2023.06.02 23:52 PsyberPunk_3030 If you want to make sure you get to play with mostly Ethernet players you can blacklist WIFI players, me and my friends have been doing this and it's working great.
I have always hated playing fighting game in WIFI, even though you can get decent ping, it's the packet loss that WIFI has problems with. SF6 lets you blacklist at the end of the match, so that way you can get more and more Ethernet battles.

2023.06.02 23:52 numind3 Parents are fake. Gf doesn’t make anything better
Family basically always on the fake type of love. It’s never genuine and for some reason it’s always tallied.
I don’t feel welcomed with my family and I damn sure don’t feel welcome with my gf. Everything has been an argument between us and never any understanding.
Ever since last Oct, I’ve been wanting to get a job but with the constant back and forth seems to consume me more than me getting a fucking job. Fast forward to January same thing. New year, have a gf but no job. Gf wants me to party with her uptown I don’t want to because of how much of a drain it’s always been being around her.
Doesn’t want to admit when she’s wrong just like my mom and whenever I do tell her about herself she downplays it by telling me what I’m doing. As if I’m wrong for reacting to her disrespect.
Same thing my mom does. Anytime I tell her something bothers me it’s always a “test” to see where my emotions is at. If I’m calm then I get tested more until I’m not. Whenever I react no “sorry” is being said, it’s me being wrong for even getting upset..
Like where the fuck do I go from here? Im broke upset. If I get a job there’s no telling what kind of shut my gf will pull to stress me out. My family are all crabs in a bucket and now the light I once had is dimmed.
Wtf do I do.
Im now staying with my gf in our third hotel room. The other two we got into a fight about a situation I didn’t start. I’ve visted my parents house just because we couldn’t check in until the room is ready.
Now I’m sitting in my couch contemplating. I just text my gf I might be done. She wins. Impissed rn

Zazu Nova: “I have just eliminated Haja, and wow. It kinda hurts.” Zazu tears up. “I feel bad.” “Battle for your life, bitches. Good luck.” Zazu’s eyes well with tears as she wipes away the message. “She was a fighter.” Jaslene says. “I know she wanted this so bad.” Jaslene Bangus: “You know, as do I. I’m here to win, and I saw that girl letting herself get stressed by it. And no baby, that won’t beme.” Everyone sits down. “We’ve cracked the top 8.” Granny looks around. “That’s pretty phenomenal.” Granny Gorgeous: “If I am being honest, I didn’t expect to be here. And I am, that feels lovely.” “All of us have a win, except Ms… Raiz.” Aguacate raises an eyebrow, as the others turn to look at her. Yasmin smiles. “I’m not nervous.” Yasmin Raiz: “I am here to show myself. I’ve been consistent, I’ve been authentic- I have no qualms in the fact I will get a win at some point.” “I’m glad you aren’t. But I’m also so happy to not be the last one to win, baby!” Aguacate cheers, as the others clap. “You did really well.” Fiore purses her lips. “I’d have loved to have gotten a win, but I think I showed myself a comedian.” “Comedian?” Aguacate raises an eyebrow. “Yes.” Fiore smiles. “Comedy is an art, and I am a master of crafts. I played a role, and I did it well.” Fiore responds. Aguacate eyes Fiore. Aguacate: “Delusion!!” Aguacate cackles. “Okay, I know that’s ironic coming from me.” “Either way, we are here, ready to fight another day, and to celebrate the journey.” Crayola smiles. “And that is lovely.” “We’re here to have FUN, right?” Omari says sarcastically. “Well, most of us.” Jaslene purses her lips. The racers de-drag. “That comment…” Omari exhales. “It’s ringing in my head.” “Don’t let things get to you.” Granny smiles. “You’re a star.” “I’ve been doing this for years.” Omari looks at Jaslene, who cackles with Fiore. “How can she say I’m not having fun with it?” “Well, have some fun, then.” Granny says with a grin on her face. “I will…” Omari says. “I will.” King Omari Star: “Get ready world… I’m going to have… fun.” Omari cracks his knuckles, before adjusting himself in his seat. “I’m not ridgid.” Omari sits like a formal King. “Just watch me work.” “Honey, if you stand that stiff, you’re gonna be sore by my age. You look tense.” Granny laughs. “Whoops.” Omari shakes himself around. “Thanks.” Granny grins. “Not a problem at all.” ~ The Next Day, Yasmin smiles. “I didn’t cook.” “Oh, so you’re going home this time.” Aguacate responds. “I baked!” Yasmin reveals a plate of cookies. “Damn, she’s not going home.” Aguacate frowns. “Wait, if when you don’t cook, you bottom, and if you do cook, you’re safe or high… what happens when you bake?” Zazu asks. “I guess we’ll find out.” Yasmin winks. You’ve got drag mail! The beat is pumpin’, so let’s dance baby! “No dancing.” Aguacate shakes her head. Hi racers. It’s time… Chronologica takes out a pair of glasses. TO READ! Because reading is WHAT? “FUNDAMENTAL!” ~ “First off…” Jaslene looks at Zazu. “I want to thank you girl, for showing us authentically African drag at its worst.” Zazu gasps. “And Omari, thank you for showing us how to deliver high class drag without a single bit of joy in it!” Omari looks displeased. “Aguacate, I will say this in Spanish.” Jaslene smiles. “¡Estás tan plagada con tantas enfermedades sexuales que cuando besas a alguien, se convierten en paciente cero!” Aguacate looks shocked. ~ Jaslene, you’re a winner baby! “Another one in the basket.” Jaslene smirks. Racers, it’s time to HOST YOUR OWN FESTIVAL! For this week’s maxi challenge, you will in teams curate a festival of your choosing, hosting an event of a lifetime! You will come up with your own name, concept, idea, and execute it to stardom! Yasmin Raiz: “I am SO excited for this. I love festivals! I’m over the moon excited for this, and my head is BOOMING.” Yasmin stops herself. “Oh lordy-my-lordy. My head is ALWAYS booming.” Yasmin giggles. Jaslene, as mini challenge winner, you get to assign the teams. “Okay, werk.” Jaslene nods. “I choose Fiore.” Fiore grins. “...Aguacate and… Granny.” Jaslene says. “Crayola… and Yasmin.” And that leaves Zazu and Omari! King Omari Star: “Hmph.” Zazu grins, running over. “Let’s do THIS!” Good luck, racers… and do NOT fuck it up. ~ The teams sit around the table as they prepare for the maxi challenge. Yasmin Raiz: “For this week’s maxi challenge, we’re hosting our own FESTIVAL. Festivals have music, food and straight up good times. Which are ALL a recipe for a festivalicious Yasmin!!” “So, we’re a team.” Crayola smiles, looking at Yasmin. “Yes indeedy.” Yasmin grins. “I really want to have myself get outside out of that box, that Chronologica has said I’ve been in.” Crayola says. “Fabulousoing.” Yasmin beams. “How so?” “...I haven’t figured it out yet.” Crayola chuckles. "Well, my colorful friend, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to step outside that box and show the world a whole new side of Crayola. And I think I might just have the idea to spice things up." Yasmin smirks. “What’s your idea?” Crayola asks. “Do you like spicy food?” Yasmin raises an eyebrow. “I prefer yogurt, or a lovely fruit salad…” “You’re so white.” Yasmin laughs. Crayola shrugs. "Picture this, my dear: A Spice themed festival! We can pay homage to the iconic Spice Girls and celebrate all things spicy. And guess who's going to be our spicy surprise?" Yasmin smirks. “Me?” “YOU!” Yasmin chuckles. "Oh, darling, I envision you as the embodiment of Scary Spice meets Posh Spice. You'll be the daring white queen who fearlessly embraces the heat! We'll have a culinary challenge where you'll showcase your prowess in eating the spiciest of dishes. It'll be a journey of flavor and courage!" “I’m stepping outside my box, we’re embracing your culinary talents, and we will host a SHOW!” Crayola looks excitedly. "Alright, Yasmin, I'm in. Let's make this Spice festival the hottest event of the season!" Yasmin claps her hands in excitement. Meanwhile, Fiore and Jaslene sit together. “My A.E Sister.” Jaslene smiles. “Sis.” Fiore purses her lips. “What’s your idea?” “I mean, we’re divas, we’re icons..” Jaslene smirks. “And I want us to win this.” Jaslene Bangus: “I can feel myself slightly off here. I want to really accelerate my performance and showcase what I can do.” “I do too.” Fiore nods. “So, I think we really showcase that. The pretty girl festival.” Jaslene smiles. Fiore makes a confused face. Taking up a hat, Jaslene walks over. “Opulence, beauty- the most exclusive of exclusive parties for the most stunning girls, only. We give them…” Jaslene picks up a huge cowgirl hat. “A cowgirl hat?” Fiore says. “...Don’t you love this idea?” Jaslene looks at Fiore, wearing the huge hat. “No.” Fiore responds. Fiore raises an eyebrow, her expression unimpressed and blunt. "Jaslene, darling, I love you, but let's be real here. That cowgirl hat is not going to scream 'opulence' or 'exclusive' to anyone. If we're going for a classy and elevated concept, we need to think bigger." Fiore says. Looking slightly offended, Jaslene purses her lips. “In what way?” "I see the potential, but we need something more elevated. How about we create an exclusive garden party theme? Picture this: an enchanting outdoor setting, with beautiful flowers, elegant table settings, and a refined atmosphere. It will be the epitome of grace and sophistication." Fiore Stravaganza: “Fiore is sophisticated always. That is my brand.” "But everyone does garden parties, Fiore! I want something bold, something that screams 'Jaslene!’ something that is us BOTH!'" Fiore sighs. "Jaslene, you're missing the point. We want to showcase our professionalism and show the judges that we can bring high-end fashion and sophistication to the stage. We need to impress, not embarrass ourselves with gimmicks." “Ugh…” Jaslene responds. “I guess so.” Fiore Stravaganza: “Love her to death but truly, I wish I was doing this challenge solo.” ~ Chronologica goes to visit the racers. Hello, Aguacate and Granny! “Chronologica, are you ready for this?” Aguacate smirks. Ready for what? “MADNESS!” Aguacate cheers. Granny chuckles as Chronologica looks at the two. “We are going for La Fiesta Loca, a tribute to our Latin American roots.” Agacate smiles. “And, you know, we’re a bit strange.” “I am a 65 year old drag Queen grandmother.” Granny grins. I think that’s a fun idea, and works with you both. Aguacate looks excitedly. Do you have experience hosting, either of you? “Of course.” Aguacate grins. “We’re both star artistes, we’re both hilarious-” “I actually have not hosted before.” Granny raises her hand. Aguacate: “Ah Dios Mío…” Give me a line, then- how you’re gonna approach this. “I’m Granny Gorgeous, and we’re going loca, darling.” Granny smiles. … … Oh, that was it? “We’re working on it.” Aguacate looks over at Granny. Aguacate: “I am about to put that Abuela through fucking hosting bootcamp.” Good. You know where to go… do it. Aguacate: “I AM NOT BOTTOMING! I AM NEVER A BOTTOM!” … Hi, Omari and Zazu. “Hi Chronologica!” Zazu smiles. Zazu Nova: “I’m excited for this challenge. I suggested an idea, I planned a concept, and he was excited. The Africa Unity Festival!” King Omari Star: “I hate the idea. But I am going to take this feedback, and really hone in on it. Give… fun.” Omari growls. “Chronologica.” Omari nods. What is your concept? “We both are from the same continent. We both have cultural traditions, we both have a shared fantastic place where we live.” Zazu smiles. “And for that, we’re showcasing it.” Omari nods. I think that’s a great idea. Omari looks surprised, whilst Zazu has a bright smile. Are you excited for this concept? “I really am.” Zazu grins. “It’s a fantastic opportunity, and I am taking this by the horns and really having fun with it.” Omari says coolly. I… Chronologica purses her lips. I need you to have fun with it, Omari. King Omari Star: “Don’t I look like I am having fun?!” “I can assure you, I am.” Omari says. You’re polished, you’re talented, but I think you can be a bit tight. And truly, I am nervous about you here. Omari gulps. My tip is to embrace the fun. “I will.” Omari nods. Zazu smiles. King Omari Star: “...Fun!” ~ As they get ready, Fiore, Jaslene, Omari and Zazu, Crayola and Yasmin chat, whilst Aguacate appears to be running Granny through an obstacle course inside the werkroom. “How are we all feeling about this challenge?” Yasmin smiles, looking excitedly. “I’m feeling riveted.” Zazu grins. "I must say, I'm quite confident in our concept. The exclusive garden party theme is right up my alley, and I know Jaslene has a knack for bringing the drama and glamor. I think we can really shine here." Fiore flicks her hair. "Yeah, I'm ready to slay this festival. Fiore and I might have had a little disagreement earlier, but we're on the same page now.” Jaslene nods. “We're gonna show them what high-class, elegant drag is all about, baby!” Jaslene smirks. "I'm really excited about our own Spice festival concept. It's something different, and I love the idea of showcasing my versatility. I think we can bring some heat and spice to the stage!" “Heat and Spice?” Zazu raises an eyebrow. Yasmin giggles as she turns to Zazu. "Oh, honey, you have no idea what we have planned for this festival. It's not just about the spicy food, it's about the spice in our performances too!" Zazu grins. "Well, I'm all about adding some flavor to this competition. Let's make it hot!" “This challenge means a lot.” Yasmin looks at Crayola, who nods. As the teams continue to discuss their ideas, Omari sits quietly in the corner, lost in his own thoughts. Granny runs over, panting as Aguacate drops her whip and starts painting her face. "Omari." Granny smiles delicately. "Are you okay?" Omari looks up, snapping out of his reverie. “Yes, I'm fine. Just... thinking." Granny raises an eyebrow. "About what?" Omari sighs and looks a bit frustrated. "It's just... I can't help but feel like I'm being labeled as 'stiff' or 'unfriendly' in this competition. It bothers me because I am focused on the crown and doing my best, but people seem to misunderstand me." “Still, with that?” Granny frowns. “I’ve been watching this show since it started. But what- what inspired me, what triggered this drive and audition for me- was season 3 was filmed. Jerry Good Drag Queen toured the show and was actually visiting South Africa.” Omari purses his lips. “I’ve been doing drag for a while.” Granny nods. “I’ve built respect in the African drag scene- it’s small, and I get to travel for it. But when I got there, I was treated with such a lack of respect, like I was nothing, by this DRAG RACE girl- a winner, someone black… and you know, I didn’t make a big deal of it when she judged, because I didn’t want it to be a thing but... I never want to feel like that. I’m fixated. I’m not stiff. I’m just focused, and I’m going to have fun with this, but- I want the crown, you know?!” Omari exhales. "I hear you, my dear. It's frustrating when others misjudge us based on surface impressions. But let me tell you something, Omari: you are a force to be reckoned with. Your focus, determination, and passion for drag shine through in your performances. And don't forget, the crown is within your reach. You have every right to go after it and claim it for yourself." Granny chuckles. “If I don’t get it first.” Omari looks at Granny, a mixture of gratitude and determination in his eyes. "Thank you, Granny. Your words mean a lot to me. I won't let anyone's misconceptions hold me back. I'll show them what I'm made of. Even if I fall, I will rise.” “Damn yeah.” Granny grins. “GRANNY, COME BACK!” Aguacate yells, an axe in her hand as Granny starts to run away. ~ Stats Voting Spreadsheet submitted by AustralianChrono to RPDRfantasyseason [link] [comments] |

~ Stats Voting Spreadsheet submitted by AustralianChrono to ChronologicasDragRace [link] [comments] |
2023.06.02 23:52 BlooRad ENTP here - friction
I made a post in the ENTP subreddit that accidentally sorta evolved into a scathing critique of INFJs. I figure I don't want to make the comments in a vacuum/I don't want my perspective to not be questioned and challenged for the sake of making sure it's worth having. Please critique/challenge/share why I am wrong or right, all opinions appreciated.
"As an ENTP, INFJs are the worst. INTJs are the GOATs. With INFJs it's the flavor of getting along where you play a character and subserviate your perspective to theirs for the sake of cooperation. They will view you as a disruptor of their diety-like perfect notion of what real consensus is that exists in a quasi-state of being the objective truth of the universe, and you will not be allowed to have your perspective be included in it. Or you can just hate each other, because the INFJ will not do the work to reach a concensus/it needs to be driven completely by you, in reaction to them. Which they will then view as an achievement/proof their perspective has merit. And you need to embrace that mode of thinking without generating a stress ulcer to get along with them. It's the ENTP labor we always have to do to get the other types who think they do the labor, into thinking they do the labor, so that they can go to sleep at night thinking they are caring social people, because as we know that is how you get people to feel happy, and people feeling happy always takes precedent if you want meaningful relationships and for people to share the ideas that matter the most to them/cause them to break down and share why they're awesome. It's just so much emotional labor, especially with INFJs, who demand we join a cult of personality with extra steps for a basic rapport.
Something about the INXJ makes INFJs extra terrible and INTJs extra amazing. INTJs are infinitely curious, empathetic, flexible - and centrally, patient and considerate, the things ENTPs lack and what makes them great people to have around. They're opposites of INFJs, who are dogmatic, inconsiderate, inflexible, and worst of all, view those things are their key merits. The INFJ will call it having values, refusing to lose sight of what matters, being troubled by injustice. But injustice = whatever disagrees with their biases, what matters is what feeds their insecurities and ego, etc. And their state of mind is the absolute worst of any Myers-Briggs type at popping out of themselves and growing - not growing/"sticking to your beliefs" - aka refusing to value the perspectives of others - being one of their core values. And then imposing that madness to "advocate" for harmony, aka everyone think exactly what I think and then everything will be happy, you not thinking exactly what I think gets in the way of harmony - is in one way or another what they land on for finding personal meaning. Of course in their mind this is almost the opposite of what they're doing. But give a quick second glance, their "empathy" always comes back to "I understand how you think and feel, so now think and feel how I personally think and feel and to the extent you do not do that that is the exact problem." Layers of mental gymnastics apply, but INFJs usually land on "you not thinking exactly how I think," and then not thinking beyond that, as the crux of conflict. In a million different ways, but that's almost always it. If delete yourself and become the person who they are isn't their solution, they probably aren't an INFJ. Dominate and impose and delete people's uniqueness = doing good. Or as the INFJ would put it, "help others" and "have integrity." And then because they noted your birthday in their calendar and "remember the little things" their perspective is obviously worth holding dearly, because your thoughts and feelings were not capable of caring about that in the same way theirs does. Or something totally arbitrary akin to that It sucks. Lots of fun to try and field."
-Really derogatory I know, but that is what prompted me to want to share. Took a step back and thought "huh, how much of a good reason do I actually have for thinking this?" Please roast me, share thoughts. I realized I was being more-or-less prejudiced and need y'all's opinions to have the tools to be genuinely empathetic/have my opinions grounded in your perspectives.

2023.06.02 23:51 Charcharbinks98 A Literary Beast
Ellith Kensington, the famous horror author of the 1600's, was synonymous with controversy. Previously exiled from several communities, local townsfolk were wary of him and his abhorrent writing. They fearfully pondered the rumors of his past, and the inevitable disasters that seemed to always follow in his wake.
Kensington's publisher's deadlines encroached onto him, in this, the hour of an impossible decision. Write the story so he can afford to eat and run from the life he's made for himself once again, or suffer in starvation and welcome death.
He wet his quill with ink. Flames leapt in the nearby fire, illuminating the vacant parchment that lie before him, along with his gaunt and slender face. Perspiration clung to his brow as he gripped his writing quill.
He was strapped for means of purchasing food due to the length of time since his last story. His publishers grew impatient and angry. He had waited as long as he could without eating, the hunger was killing him. Living in fear of his own writing and the certain doom that follows was no longer an option.
Fear grasped and tightened it's cold fingers round his shoulders as he pressed quill to paper. Once more, he breathed life into the macabre.
A portal blacker than the ink on his quill, stained the night sky cracking the dimensions between time and space. Black liquid spilled through, splattering out a limp and lifeless creature onto the cobblestone street.
The creatures eyes open.
Its claws sheathe out of its massive paws and the creature's legs twitch. It stands tall and shakes off the inky afterbirth onto the nearing houses and rooftops. Towering over the town, the creature lifts its head and lets out a deafening shriek.
Inside, a startled Kensington fearfully fumbles, overturning his ink.
The creature scans the streets and targets a young woman desperately seeking shelter from its fury.
THE CREATURE POUNCES.
Kensington rushes to the front door and flings it ajar, stumbling back in terror. A woman lay close by in the street, pressed against the cobblestone by another of his cryptid creations. Its claws had pierced her lifeless body all the way through, curling into the dirt below.
It devoured the woman and triumphantly roared with a wicked delight, echoing amongst the screams and shouts of the nearby townspeople.
Kensington's guilt tore at his very soul. He scampered to back to his writing desk and, through his writing, directs the beast to his front door.
The massive beast fills the doorway, splintering the wooden beams and decimating the stone walls. as Kensington lifts his arms, accepting defeat. He Embraces death, so as to spawn evil in this world no longer.
The Beast clamped down on him. It's incredibly sharp sets of teeth serating his midsection to mush, accepting his offer and claiming the both of their existences.
An eerie silence danced amongst the town, the stars and the moon above; as the flame atop the wick on his writing desk burnt out.

2023.06.02 23:51 nearly_headless_nic [Press Conference - Part 2] Ten Hag on fans wanting to stop City doing the Treble: “I know what the thinking is from the [supporters]. But what we want is to restore Man United by winning trophies. On Saturday, we have the opportunity to win a trophy, and we don't want to be distracted by anything.”
https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detail/every-word-from-erik-ten-hag-press-conference-part-two-02-june-2023 Full Transcript - every word from Press Conference Part 2
Just with Anthony Martial, the club said it was a muscular tear. Is that going to be a long recovery time for him, or will he be fit for pre-season? “Yeah, it's going to be a long one, but how long? We don't know. We have to do more assessments.”
And just looking ahead to the game on Saturday. It's going to be difficult for you with selections. There are going to be certain players who are going to be disappointed. When will you have those conversations? Will you have those conversations with players who will have to be left out of the squad for Saturday? “Yes, of course. There will be always be disappointed [players], about the start XI [and] for the bench. But I think it's a normal process in Manchester United and we have to deal with it. The players have to deal with it, the squad have to deal with it. And so I make the choices.”
Having worked with Pep [Guardiola] when you were at Bayern Munich 2, what insight can you give us that makes him so special? “Oh, I don't tell. Obviously, we have seen what he's doing. He is doing a brilliant job and what he can do. He can construct teams, not only in winning teams, but also he's winning in a very attractive way. So that's why I think we all admire him.”
Apart from the first time that this club won the European Cup in 1968, the Treble season of 1999 is probably the one thing that Manchester United supporters hold as their own above anything else, which nobody else has ever done it. So I know that you try and play it down, but if you were to stop Manchester City doing that on Saturday, your supporters will sing about this weekend for the next 50 years. Do you have any real appreciation of what that really means? “Yes, I know. I know what the thinking is from the [supporters]. But what we want is to restore Manchester United by winning trophies. So on Saturday, we have the opportunity to win a trophy, and we don't want to be distracted by anything. And yeah, if it's important for the fans, then it's important for us. So we will give everything to win the cup.”
Manchester United have won the FA Cup many times, why not use it as extra motivation? Why shy away from it? Why not embrace it as a motivation? “Because it's not necessary. That will not give more motivation to the team because their motivation is already enough and that can't be more. They want to win a cup and they have an opportunity. They want to set a crown on the season and so what more do you need? What is more motivation?”
When you beat City in January, there was a lot of controversy over the equaliser scored by Bruno Fernandes. Manchester City were obviously unhappy about that. The goal stood. Do you feel that you need to win on Saturday to almost prove that that wasn't down to luck, that victory over City? “I wouldn't explain it in that way because I also seen the xG from that game and it was really our side.”
So you don’t feel there was any fortune at all with that decision? “No, I don't think so. I say when you see the xG in that game it was absolutely on our side.”
And what for you, in your opinion, was the key to beating Manchester City because you made some tactical changes then didn't you? You brought Fred into the starting line-up? What was the key for you to beating them? “There are many. All big games are always decided by details but there's a plan and the construction of the plan is based on many facts. And you can’t point out one that is a major decision and probably a detail like that, that moment in the game. Moments in games decide top games.”
How much did you learn from that 6-3 earlier in the season? Because you said afterwards that Manchester City taught you a footballing lesson and you took the lesson. What did you learn from that defeat? “That is, I think you can't say learn. You learn always and you learn from that defeat. You learn from the win as well. And but I can't say afterwards that I learned something from that game. So we won the second game. I don't think so.”
Well, after the two games against City this season have created two very different results of 6-3 and the 2-1. What do you think the biggest difference between those two games was? Was it a mentality thing for your players? Was it a tactical thing? How can you go from losing a game 6-3 to then winning one the way you did, 2-1? “The belief. In the Etihad, we didn't show belief. And I think at Old Trafford, we were determined to win this game from the first moment on.”
Do you see the same belief now ahead of Saturday? “It's up to us that we show the same belief.”
It’s United's 62nd match of the season. Obviously, you've had to deal with a lot off the pitch as well. And obviously the demands of Manchester United. How have you found your first season? How draining has it been, or have you enjoyed that challenge? “Well, I enjoyed it definitely. And I think it was a great journey this season, of course. And you always enjoy more when you see the progress of your team. If you see a team is developing, if you see individuals developing and if you work in togetherness [it’s great]. All can confirm this, all three things: like team, the individuals and also the way we work together in this club, it's very good. So for me, so far it's a great season.”
A lot of matches in finals recently have gone some extra time the match last night did as well [Europa League final]. How much of that is a factor in the starting line-up or will it just be a case of putting your best team out from the get-go? “It's true. Extra time and our team is fit that [we] showed the fitness outputs. So that gives us confidence.”

2023.06.02 23:51 citrusies How does anyone believe in themselves?
I have no real sense of self. I can barely articulate myself in the most basic situations not even because of anxiety but because I often just have no freaking idea what I even want to express.
I am constantly filtering myself and noticing how I barely sound like a real person. Sometimes I just sit here staring at my laptop screen, feeling like I could stop breathing and wouldn't even notice or care.
If I am truly honest with myself, I always conclude that my negatives outweigh the positives of my character primarily because they prevent me from doing anything with that positive potential.
And even if, at this very moment, I mustered the mindless strength to will myself to strive toward some small professional goal, I am still miles behind everyone else because of how long I've spent simply not doing anything meaningful with my time.
It's a self-catastrophizing cycle in which my inability to believe in myself due to past failures is keeping me from successfully packaging myself in the way that's necessary to secure basic survival and dignity in this world. On the off chance that I do dupe someone into believing in me to be the semi-polished version of myself I present to the public, I always end up disappointing them. So it's like, what's the point if I'll just ruin it in the end?

2023.06.02 23:51 Initial_One_2681 Being a teen girl exmuslim in Muslim household is actual prison
I 14f am a closeted exmuslim and I’m so mad I’ll never experience what it’s truly like to be a teenager I’m so mad at my parents for forcing me into this religion I’m more angry that a dude 1000 years ago stole that from me if it wasn’t for him I would be free literally. I live in Australia and it’s always hot and I gotta wear that stupid cloth sometimes I look at the kids at my school and think about how they can dress, say,do whatever they like.
I’ll be free one day I know I’ll be. That’s mean I’ll have to work hard and focus on my study’s which I already do my goal for this year is to get my gpa from 3.9 currently to 4.5-10 I know I can do it. So I could get into uni in no time and I’ll take a student loan if I have to.
When I grow up I wanna be an actress it’s always been my passion and I told my mom and she started humiliating me and saying that people who do movies are slut, whores etc. And I swear that motivated me even harder to become an actress as soon as I turn 18. No bodies getting in between me and my dreams
If telling my parents I’m exmuslim the only way they’ll get of my nerves then goodbye to them for ever forever I don’t need them anyways they have been nothing but bullies to me so I don’t mind it as long as I’m free.
I wanna travel around the world like Greece, Fiji, France, and more. Let my hair down as soon as I’m 18 never covering my head ever again. Dressing how ever I like. Never marry I Muslim man lol, Party, celebrate my birthday, be on tv and movies.

2023.06.02 23:51 ivappa How exactly do I stop being scared to death by a horror game?
I don't know where else to post.
I've always loved horror games. I played Outlast in one sitting. I've finished Outlast 2 in 2 days. I've played and replayed Silent Hill, Resident Evil and other PS2 classics.
I picked up Cry of Fear and it makes me scream my lungs out. For some reason I find it scarier than anything ever. The last straw was an enemy jumpscare that made me WHIMPER. It's not even that scary. And I really want to play it. I can't just watch a gameplay, I want to do this myself. I would love advice or insight on this. It's not the biggest issue in my life, it's just my pride that doesn't want me to back away. On top of that the game is captivating. Thanks.

2023.06.02 23:51 Seaherne94 A long overdue post here
So, I definitely know a bunch of you from videos and streams, and I hope that some of you recognise the name. But I just want to say a big thank you both to the OG OT himself, and to everyone in the community here.
I found OT a few years ago, just by chance, and during some pretty dark times since then, OT's videos have been the little light getting me through. He is always around for good fun, spreading love and good vibes, and the only criticism I have ever had is that he needs to prioritise his own health better and more often. That attitude and the vibe he's always put out has drawn so many wonderful people in and I am so so happy to know so many of you because of that.
OT, I always look to your videos, streams, and community whenever I need a little push to keep going, because I get blasted by good vibes like it's an asdf rainbow vomit. You have such a good heart and I am so glad you wear it on your sleeve, because it inspires me every time to be the best, kindest, and most true version of myself.
Especially when times are hard, and I can't muster the energy to be around to say hi all the time and be present in the community, I still feel the good vibes coming from everyone.
So thank you OT, for giving us all the space to give and get support, when we don't even ask for it, and when we don't even realise how much we're getting. It's a very very special corner of the internet over her and I am so so grateful that I stuck around long enough to find it 💜
Love you OT, and wish you all the best, happy, and healing vibes. And love you beardos and weirdos. You're my favourites. Thank you for keeping me going, and bringing me along on the good vibe waves when I need it. 💜

2023.06.02 23:51 Baldo_ITA What magic weapons would you like of you were a demigod? [general]
If you were a demigod, who would be your godly parent and what weapons would you like?
I, personally, always imagined myself as a son of Hecate with a pair of magic rings (just to be clear, I thought of this way before reading ToA) that I could've used to summon any kind of weapon I wanted (spear, sword, 2 handed sword, shield, dagger) and I always imagined myself fighting by changing the weapon every few seconds.
It was either this or, considering it is very powerful, an electric torch that can transform in either a spear or a 1 handed sword (and probably a shield), because the torches are the symbols of Hecate.
And you, what would you like to have?

2023.06.02 23:50 JazzyGrl88 Can I stay in touch with my PT?
Is it appropriate to ask to stay in touch with your physical therapist?
I’ve been in physical therapy for about six months and have always felt like I connected with her really well and have things in common. We are both female. She just informed me that she will be leaving her job. Once I am no longer her patient, is it wrong to ask to stay in touch? Like email perhaps? If she says no, I of course would understand (despite being a little sad). I know this question probably seems pathetic, but I just honestly have no clue if it’s something that is ok to ask or not and thought a good place to ask would be somewhere that actual physical therapists might respond. Thank you.

2023.06.02 23:50 Fresh_Seesaw9844 Letter of appreciation
The lack of words to describe the life changing affects that Jordan Petersons views have had in my personal development are both a disgrace as also a very telling sentiment- they are simply impossible to articulate. I remember the 1,5 h youtube video of the lectures about 12 rules of life - i watched and listened every word and was left absolutely astonished in my early twenties for i realized that these statements resonated with my soul and inner knowledge, but i could've never put them in such simply understandable words as he did. The best 1,5h i had spent learning something from a youtube video. Having a rather rough childhood i was blessed to come across something so valuable. Tools to understand where my poor decisions navigating life had came from and how to strive for better ones.
I believe that Jordan Peterson is the most misunderstood person our society has had for the last decade. It is gut wrenching to witness the challenges laid upon him. We live in such upside-down world, where logic is denied in order to defend illogical ideology, where presenting facts are seen as bigotry while unholyness on the other hand is welcomed and described as holy bravery.
I do believe that tables will turn-the pendulum always starts to move the opposite way after it has reached its peak. What consequences it may bring is up to the imagination but whatever happens, i will always know that i have the capability to deal with it for the foundation that has beem built in my character, simply thanks to being introduced to Peterson in such early stage of my life.
This is my letter of appreciation. I know i am one of many but i also know that every single life changed is a step closer to a healthier community.
Thank you.

I grew up with a abusive dad and in general family, i lived with my dad and grandparents i watched and lived through my dads saddness and rage because my mom, my mom left when i was 5 but came back multiplr times with different men and always fuckrd up on some kind of drug. my dad and grandparents always complained about my mom demoniszing her and my mom always complained abt the rest of them demonizing them and i was the little messanger untill i was 9. my dad has done alot of fucked up things to me over the years which ill sumerrize , beatings, making everyone mostly fsmily think im crazy so they cut me off, lie to the cops about me, touch me, stuf like that but i dont really care ruvbt now. my dad tries hard for me dispite all the things he USED to do, he still freaks out and has his mommenta he lied to the cops a week ago or so saying i trashed ky room and was hurting myself and hes scared for my safty and his safty bc im a very illl illlll illllllll girl which none of that was true he said sm and he also killed my cat and i called thr cops and he lies his way out of that one gaining aympathy from the cops he yells alot like a metal band seriously he makes that sound calling me a little fucker this and that he agetaites me alot but he only yells like that and does stuf like that bc i make him i act rlly spoiled and bratty alot of the time and i know i do and it isnt rlly my person but me acting like that makes it my person, i hate people like that and i hate actung likr that but its as if im like thats the only way i can act towards my dad atp he gets really sad and cries and screams and is so stressed bc im mean to him and stuff like that but i csnt bring myself to care, ive always had problems with empathy i am in a little edge lord phase rn i am 14 but i do take alot of different meds and have seen and am still seeing many people for my diagnoses and lack of empathy, i usedto love him so much but i just havent for a long time maybe a little over 3 now?? ill amways be attachrd to our old relatuonship where we would watxh bat man or something together on the couch im reslly sad bc before it uses to be sm worse i was heavily neglected and abused but lovrd him sm and now he spoils me and i just csnt even bring myself to be thankful, i still say thwnk you of course but i dont know i just cant like love him ibwish i did so bad i wish i wassnt like this , i just made him start screaming and cry in his car bc i cleaned up my room but i told him i made it messy bc i couldnt get a ride to the mall even tho i didnt, why did i even do that?? its something petty he wouldve done to me but that doesnt make it okay? he tries so hard to make me happy and tries so hard for me in general when i act likr this, it seems as if when im affectionate he loses intrest in me. i wish we couldnbe normaonand wholesome, this is horribke for both of us. the only reason i cry over my father is because im not able to cry for him, only for my lack of love and empathy it makes me feel horribke im not fit for the people i DO love bc i am genhinly horrible. im scared maybe one day my realtionships will all avolve to be this way, hes giving me awau soon he said he had decisions to be made tonight. i dont lovr him, i sometimes hate him i sometimes miss how we used to be.
