2023.03.25 09:35 Nachtreiher2 What is something you wished...
people told you when you started roleplaying? There are so many things that I wish I figured out early in the beginning, because it would have helped me a lot.
You don't know a person after one or two week...
no matter how often you write each day. I am the last person to say that online friends can never become friends, mind you. But especially if you know a person only for a short time, you should always consider that they might act in unpredictable ways. I often read posts in this subreddit stating that they never thought that their partner would just ghost, suddenly show bad roleplaying behavior, become passive aggressive or say that they don't think want to write the roleplay anymore, and that they trusted them and considered them friends...just to find out that they have maybe written with this partner person for one or two weeks. That is far to little time to truly get to know someone, especially on the internet. People lie, and most people will hide the unpleasant parts of their personality so that people will roleplay with them. Not to mention that it is completely normal and not even rude behavior from the other person if they just notice that the roleplay isn't what they hoped it would be and they end it. I know that it is disappointing if someone you vibed with in the beginning turns out to be an asshole or just different from what you thought, but especially in the beginning, it has to be expected. So don't put all your expectations on one person you barely know. I know it hurts to be disappointed, and writing with someone every day can create the illusion that you know someone far better than you do, but please be careful.
To add to this, don't blindly defend someone just because they have been nice to you. A lot of people cause drama, insult others, are bad roleplayers while some of their roleplaying partner only get to know them as a perfect angel.
Actions speak louder than words
A lot of writers will say that they are tolerant, or that they are nice, or that they fulfill whatever quality you are looking for. Almost no one would say 'Yeah, I am totally unflexible and will force you to write your characters exactly the way I want you to write them. If you don't, I will insult you or get grumpy.' That is why you have to take a look at their behavior and not only cling to whatever words were written in their ads or your ooc chat stating how they would act. If someone says that they are creative and enjoy worldbuilding, but they never add anything in the planning phase or later in the roleplay, they probably didn't tell you the truth. If someone tells you 'Feel free to write this character in the way YOU want', but avoids every discussion about this character and future plotlines they could be in, they probably don't want to write against them even if they said it was okay. This stuff happens. And some writers have a pretty good grasp about what other people would like them to say to consider roleplaying with them. Or a distorted self image. So please take a look at how they really act and don't just take their word for it.
The person who comes to you with a whole different plot will probably not make a very good roleplaying partner
When I was younger, I would basically consider every plot people would throw at me, even if it had nothing to do with my original search. But I was always rather flexible when it came to plots, so I was like 'Okay, this sounds somewhat like a fantasy plot, maybe the characters I have in mind can also work...' Nope. But most of the time, it wasn't because of the plot itself, but because of the behavior of the other writer. In very rare cases, it could work (for example if the other person clearly read all my boundaries/preferences and tried to respect them with their new plot for me), but most of the time, it soon became obvious that they neither read my boundaries nor cared for them. It usually went like this: I get a totally different plot, I think that it might be interesting regardless, they want to include a lot of stuff I normally don't really write (like female characters, but because I'm flexible, I thought I could at least try), and one thing that I will never write (like smut or heavily romance focused stuff). They either get angry and call me a prude when I tell them that, or they promise that there will only be a very tiny bit of romance and no smut...only to totally walk over that in the actual roleplay, and complain or whine if I re-state my boundaries.
So I would suggest you don't entertain those people at all, especially if: you notice they didn't read your boundaries well, the plot has nothing to do with your original search, and there is no active effort to consider your wishes for the roleplay. In 99% of these cases, you are wasting your time.
You don't always need to compromise
This ties in with the point I made before. When I started roleplaying, it was drilled into my head that not wanting to compromise on some things would automatically make me a bad roleplayer. This mindset made me write a lot of roleplays I didn't enjoy or characters I didn't care for. So my advice is: If you know that an aspect will severely impact your enjoyment of the roleplay, you don't have to compromise on it. You don't have to include romance just because most writers want romance, you don't have to double, you don't have to change the gender of the character if someone asks...the list goes on, and it even applies to smaller aspects. Yes, compromising in itself is necessary for roleplaying. But if you know that you won't enjoy a plotline at all, or a character you write, I would even argue to that it is not only better for you, but also more fair for the writer to not compromise on this. Because writing something you don't enjoy at all, be it a character, a plotline or pairing will almost always end with your partner noticing that you don't enjoy it or that your writing is 'off' when it comes to these scenes. Saying 'No, I don't double' or 'No, I don't write romance' is not rude, especially if your search already makes that clear. It might make you incompatible with some people, but that is okay. If someone wants to shame you for that, something is off with them. Sure, you have to live with the 'consequences' of your unwillingness to include certain aspects (non-romance roleplays will receive less interest, for example), but sometimes it might be better if you have one partner who is on the same page instead of a dozen roleplays you don't really enjoy. Or even not to roleplay at all instead of spending hours writing something you don't like.
Just because you could write a character in a group roleplay...
doesn't mean you should. Also a thing I see a lot with newbies and something I have done in the past. I thought that if the rules in theory allowed me to write a specific character, they would automatically be accepted or that people would also write with me. It took me some time to see that you should also consider other aspects, like: How well can other characters interact with them? Is it easy to fit them into to the storyline of the group roleplay? Why should other players want to write against this specific character? Does the tone/setting of the character fit this specific group roleplay? Even if crazy child serial killers aren't explicitely forbidden in a group roleplay because the mods didn't think anyone would write something like that, the mods might say 'Eh, this is a fluffy college roleplay, I'm afraid you can't write this character.' That is normal, and even though they could have mentioned it, it is pretty obvious that you simply can't include everything that people might come up with in the rules of a roleplay. Don't become angry at the mods for that, don't say 'But the rules did not explicitely...'. Instead, ask beforehand if a character some might consider controversial can be included in the roleplay or if you should think of something different. And even if your character is accepted, please keep in mind that nobody is obligated to roleplay with you. Just because the roleplay's rules did not forbid something, doesn't mean the other writers have to be interested in that. Keep that in mind while creating your character.

2023.03.25 09:27 Jasonbourne9900 Girlfriend can’t finish. At all. Now I can’t start.
Hi all. Basically as it says on the title. She’s never been able to finish during any kind of sex or solo play (and she’s not into that anyway) My problem Is I’m a serial giver. My favourite thing about sex was making my partner finish, and I’ve never had any problem in the past. I’ve always been a dominant and orgasm denial, or forced orgasm has been something what i, and my partners, enjoy. Aswell as giving oral, which she doesn’t really react to and it’s abit of a mood killer. She doesn’t really react to sex that much depending on how much she’s in the mood.
At the beginning of this relationship I couldn’t believe it when my gf said she has never finished, a-few others I’ve been with have said that but there’s never been a problem. I’ve made her squirt a-few times but she never got any release.
Now it’s affecting me and I can get stimulated from looking and thinking about things but when it comes to sex I can’t get it started as it just seems to be the vanilla in and out and only I finish meaning I have to take medication to get it up.
We’ve tried pretty much everything, toys, positions, long sessions, oral etc. Nothing seems to work
Any helpful advice?

2023.03.25 09:22 AngryRobot42 Again, found something about the DLC, Completely by accident. Need help continuing the thread.
First, I don't know if this pertains to the big puzzle, but I may have found part of or a portion of the upcoming DLC. It doesn't sound like it is going to be a happy story.
I swear I wasn't looking for anything this time. I was running around, and It occurred to me.... actually, it was my wife who picked up on it. She does not play video games. :(
The Zen garden. If you walk into the zen garden across from the statue in Corpo plaza, you will see a large tree and the sounds of birds playing. There are no birds; it's just the recording of them. Fun fact all of the bird sounds are native to North/Central America. My wife is a birder; she pointed out the constant Oriole chirp.
All of this reminded me of the "Songbird" data mine from the following post; she is briefly shown in the trailer.
https://www.reddit.com/cyberpunkgame/comments/qell4w/who_is_songbird/ Okay, here is where it gets crazy. Orioles are "songbirds," and in the picture, the woman has two tattoos. a flower and a bird with the same or alternate name.
The bird is a Black Oriole, and the flower is a White Dahlia. A Dahlia is a type of Oriole flower. Okay, for the hardcore fans, you already know where this goes. Black Dahlia is in the Cyberpunk pre-2077 table top game.
https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Black_Dahlia?so=search "The strongest Killer program on the market"
It gets even weirder. Black Dahlia is also the name reference of the house where the supposed murderer lived. The murder of a Dark haired aspiring actress. According to the following post (read the comments), Night City stretches from Morro Rock to the Butterfly preserve in L.A..
https://www.reddit.com/LowSodiumCyberpunk/comments/wja2eo/i_present_a_new_theory_on_ncs_location_in/ If you were to line up the famous Lloyd Wright house, it would overlap the Casino. The surrounding hills and water reservoir align with the cyberpunk 2077 map. It may be rough, but this is common due realistic sizing of Night City. This last theory might be a bit of a stretch, but you can see there is something here.

2023.03.25 08:46 jensenmalik [TOMT][MOVIE][2000s] A young girl investigates the missing young girls in their suburb and she is suspicious of a man who's her neighbor. She narrates of the movie.
This is the plot i remember and still shook me of how the protagonist died. There's a middle aged man who's a serial killer who's victims are young girls from children going preteens in this suburb. So the protagonist which is also a younger girl is on to this man and she narrates the whole story. I dont know the relation of the protagonist to the missing young girls who's pressumably dead. Then I remembered after some hide and seek and some thrilling investigation scenes, the protagonist was caught by this serial killer and she was killed. She narrates how the girls missing in their town was killed and also how she was killed and how her body was dumped. Her body was kept inside a small safe, then the serial killer dump that safe on a very huge landfill. The two dudes managing the landfill was asking about the safe the killer wants to dump but after a few conversations, the two dudes just agreed to dump the safe. The landfill was massive in the screen and it looks like there's a quicksand in the middle of the landfill. What is gut-wrenching is that when the safe is dumped, it was just tumbling down the landfill and you barely see the safe as the shot zooms out.
The serial killer was caught by accident when one day a group of teen girls jogging in the suburbs, one girl broke off with her mates and got curious about the serial killer's house when she took a peek if I recall correctly. Some hide-and-seek and chase ensues until the jogger girl the broke off and got free and reported the incident. So the serial killer escaped as the police investigated the house.
Then a time skip happened, the scene was on a mountain side(cliff?), outside of a convenience store and it is snowing heavily. The serial killer was an older man now and noticed a punkish girl leaving the convenience store then he offered the girl a ride home, but the punk girl refused then the serial killer got angry muttering words about the younger generations. Then the serial killer slipped in the snow attempting to get in his car and fell in the edge of the cliff where he was parked, then fell to a landing where people wont be looking for bodies, so basically he died hidden and bleeding. The protagonist narrated how ironic his death was if i recall correctly.

2023.03.25 08:10 freepourfruitless Looking for the name of a Dark Romance novel about a cop trying to nab a serial killer?
Dark Romance where protagonist is a cop trying to nab a serial killer?
I had JUST started reading it last week and all my kindle unlimited books deleted themselves.
This book is definitely adult fiction. I got far enough for the protagonists I be a witness in court and have to be cross examined by the defense attorney and the evidence was too circumstantial and he got off. You could tell the killer was smug as hell and making eyes at the cop. I know. I downloaded it as a serial killer romance so if this rings a bell let me know!!

2023.03.25 06:31 EQBC Why Boxing?
This is the first question that comes to everyone’s mind when they think about it.
Here are some but not all best physical benefits of Boxing.
A killer cardio workout that burns some serious calories real fast, improves your hand-eye coordination, helps build shoulder boulders, improves Bone Mineral Density, increases the endurance & stamina, enhances cardiovascular health, tones & shapes the body, and improves total body strength. These are few to be mentioned. Anyone involved in boxing knows of its power – particularly among working-class kids – to improve health, education, community cohesion and to lower crime.
You hear it all the time: You need to do cardio to protect yourself from heart disease, burn calories, and lose or maintain your weight. There are not enough promoters of boxing as a sport in the modern world. It’s a stressed-out world out there and boxing training really helps you to decrease stress level. Also, you must exercise to improve body composition out of the sedative lifestyle of young people. Easter Queens boxing club is known for its Athletic Training and Conditioning.
Boding experts have pointed out some important benefits for kids as well in the age group of 5 year to 15 year. Boxing focuses on agility, speed, quickness, balance, and hand-eye coordination, Confidence Building, Health and Proper Fitness, Self-Defense, Good Eating Habits, Higher GPAs, Staying out of Trouble, Humility and Patience.
What do boxing coaches look for in a boxer?
It is difficult to find a good boxing coach that gets the best out of you in the ring through his training out of the ring. If we think about a good boxing coach, he must possess the ability to work with fighters that vary in style, size, age, and experience. They will be able to analyze your strengths and weaknesses, then plan a training strategy. A coach will train you to augment your strengths and develop, improve upon and eventually eradicate your weaknesses.
How important is a boxing coach?
There is a famous saying about boxing “Behind every great boxer, there is a great boxing coach”.
Finding the right boxing trainer for you is essential to improve your boxing ability and to continuously develop as a boxer. In fact, trainers are so important, most professional fighters often have multiple coaches specializing in different expertise.
One more question can pop into your mind in this case, that is, do you need a boxing trainer?
Let me clear it for this sport, one cannot become a pro boxer by self-training with no trainers, You can’t. You must have a trainer to be able to do it right. You must also be able to spar unless you like to fight your imagination.
Something about trainers, what to consider while selecting a trainer. A great trainer must have a mental and emotional connection with the fighter, feeling what his fighter feels, and being able to see what the fighter is seeing. Trainers don’t give up on their boxers, and never let them feel unappreciated and incomplete. Remember one thing, a trainer who is in it for the quick buck is not a good trainer.
Same time you need a great boxing club to train yourself. You will never learn how to box without joining a boxing club/gym. A good, equipped boxing club is as much important as a good, experienced trainer, it can be even a friend who has experience from boxing trainings and fights, so he can correct you on your mistakes on boxing mitts, a lot of sparrings to learn how to react to a moving living target, but alone? No chance. If you want to be a recreational boxer, any gym that has a boxing program will do, but if you really want to devote yourself to the sport, you’ll have to find a good gym. Eastern Queen boxing club is one of the great places in the USA to join and get trained from experienced trainers to transform yourself into a professional boxer.

2023.03.25 06:18 Ok_Blackberry_9100 Charlie is a serial killer
his victims : - the hitchhiker in The Gang Hits The Road . The kid did not seem like the kind to steal a car, charlie was left alone in the car with him, that ended up back at the bar where charlie was cleaning up . Even as they were sitting in the back of the UHAUL they said "people act normal and then they carve you up" - a phrasing charlie has said multiple times (see next victim) - the lephracaun - this was a "planned murder, charlie put a hose down in the basement to clean up the blood . when the gang walked in on charlie he said he was about "carve him to pieces" with a knife in his hand - maureen - charlie has said before that he likes to glue cat hair to his neck and prance in the alleyways, which is where maureen's crazy ass was found. Dennis is a freak but he's too awkward and weird to be a serial killer. in the "making a murderer" episode charlie was in the shoes of the actual murderer from the show the episode was based on (he talked the same as steven avery) - the waitress (nearly)- when she said she didn't want to see him anymore , he poisoned her and hit her with Franks car. He has also attempted to throw her out of the window.

They were so gung-ho about building a team around Captain Williamson that they eventually let go off Rashid Khan: one of the best T20 players in the world. Then they allegedly ignored their pre-auction plans at the time of actual bidding. In the tournament, they started with two embarrassing losses but went on to win the next 5 matches convincingly. Next, they were delivered a finisher by Rashid Khan which kickstarted a 5-match losing streak. Though his picks (Abhishek, Markram, Tripathi) did well, Williamson himself struggled for form the entire season weighing the team down. | | | Top Run Getter | Abhishek Sharma | 426 runs | Top Wicket Taker | Umran Malik | 22 wickets | Preface to 2023 To Hyderabad fans, the upcoming season feels like a new sunrise. After five consecutive seasons of playoffs finish, the last two years felt like a nightmare to them. This time though, the chatter in the build up to the tournament is not of mismanagement, but of new beginnings. While it is - in many ways - a new look team altogether, there are three protagonists that are being talked about the most. First is Aiden Markram: the new captain who recently led SRH's sister team to triumph in the SA20. Second is the West Indies all time great Brain Lara: team's head coach this year and the mastermind under whose direction the new look side was assembled. Third is the much talked about English prodigy Harry Brook: for whom SRH broke a bank at the auctions. Them supported by a plethora of fresh domestic faces give the Orange Army TM the hopes of sunshine this season. - Jersey/Kit for the Season
Enthusiasts of cricket fashion breathed a collective sigh of relief as they saw that SRH are reverting to black trousers and won't be wearing the eyesore of orange pants they wore last year. Mayank Agarwal, Umran Malik and Washington Sundar sporting the new jersey Having said that, the word on the street is that their training jersey looks better than their playing kit. These two are also probably talking about how good this training shirt looks Abhishek Sharma during a training session The Orange Army TM kicks off their season with an afternoon game against RR on Sunday, April 2nd. They play RR, MI, KKR, DC and LSG twice this season. Their only games against GT and CSK are away matches, while their only fixtures against the two "red and gold" teams - PBKS and RCB - are home games. SRH's complete fixtures - Expected Conditions at Home Ground
The Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket stadium has always given memorable matches. From Sachin's 175 while chasing 350 against Australia in an ODI to Kohli giving it back to poor Kesrick Williams. From IPL's best bowling figures ever (Alzarri Joseph's 6-12) to the famous MI vs CSK final in 2019. This ground has a knack of producing memorable moments. Though, conditions very much depends on what kind of wicket is offered on a given day, generally you'd find batting belters here. The pitches do tend to slow down towards the back of the season assisting a little bit spin. In the 7 home games SRH played here in 2019, they breached 200 three times. Funny enough, that's the same number of times teams were skittled out for a sub 120 score here that season. Team for IPL 2023 - Updates regarding injuries/unavailabilities

Aiden Markram✈️ (captain), Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mayank Agarwal, Washington Sundar, Rahul Tripathi, Harry Brook✈️, Umran Malik, Heinrich Klaasen✈️, Anmolpreet Singh, Adil Rashid✈️, Akeal Hosein✈️, Upendra Yadav, Sanvir Singh, Samarth Vyas, Vivrant Sharma, Mayank Markande, Abdul Samad, Glenn Phillips✈️, Abhishek Sharma, Marco Jansen✈️, Fazalhaq Farooqi✈️, Kartik Tyagi, T Natarajan, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Mayank Dagar. Likely First Choice XI: 1. Abhishek Sharma 2. Mayank Agrawal 3. Rahul Tripathi 4. Aiden Markram✈️ (c) 5. Harry Brook✈️ 6. Heinrich Klassen✈️ (wk) 7.Washington Sundar 8. Adil Rashid✈️ 9. Bhuvneshwar Kumar 10. Umran Malik 11. Kartik Tyagi/T Natarajan IP Options: Sanvir Singh, Abdul Samad, Vivrant Sharma( Note: Impact player cannot be an overseas player if there are already 4 overseas players in the playing XI) (i) A well-balanced squad: On paper, SRH seem to have all bases covered. A decent set of openers, a drool-worthy middle order, able finishers and a formidable bowling attack - they seem to check all boxes. Moreover, the crop they've garnered this year has good mix of youth and experience. They seemed to have made prudent bids for each role rather than splurging their purse on a couple of names with big reputation. (ii) Variety and experience in bowling: A certified IPL legend (Bhuvneshwar Kumar); An express pace speedster (Umran), A 2-metre left armer who can swing it (Jansen), miserly finger spinners (Sundar & Akeal), wily ol' leggie (Rashid) and a more than decent support cast (Tyagi, Farooqi, Natarajan, Markande and others). What more do you want? (iii)The engine in the middle: The stand out feature that the fans are, perhaps, most thrilled about is the middle order. Tripathi, Markram, Brook and Klassen form a very potent line up and each of those men have individually grown leaps and bounds in stature in the last one year. Furthermore, SRH have Philips, Samad and couple other impressive local cricketers as backups. And in case you feel the lack of a left hander among these is an issue, remember Sundar can be floated in the order as per convenience. (i) The Injury Chronicles: Mayank Markande missed the Irani Cup due to a finger injury, while Natarajan has been out of action since October 2022. Although, there are no other major reports of injuries from the camp, the dubious track record of Tyagi, Bhuvneshwar, Philips and Sundar is well known. Fans would hope that the players can stay fit and last the season so that SRH's chances stay ripe. (ii) Undersupply of characters proven in the IPL: As impressive as Umran, Abhishek and Markram were last year, in all fairness, they've all had just one good season in the IPL. Klassen, Rashid and Philips have a combined IPL experience of only 11 matches in which their numbers are appalling. While Brook has been setting the world on fire, he's yet to play a match in India. Adjusting to conditions is one thing, coping with the cutthroat pressure the IPL brings is another challenge these blokes will have to overcome. Game Plan: Possible Punts The upcoming ODIs against Netherlands are a must win for South Africa with regards to qualifications for the 2023 World Cup. Having already been shocked by Netherlands last year, SA don't want to take any chances and have hence decided to go with a full strength squad. This means Jansen, Klassen and captain Markram won't be available for the Orange Army TM's opening fixture. While it's just one game, a bad start can put you in a bit of rut. In a tournament where everybody talks of "momentum", SRH would want other players to stand up and get them off to a winning start. Upendra Yadav and Glenn Philips would be likely to take the place of the absentees while the toss up for captaincy could be between Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mayank Agarwal. - Mayank and other local lads
By this time last year, Mayank Agarwal was on the top of the world. He was a regular in the Test side and was being paid ₹14 crore to captain an IPL team. But he has come tumbling down a few steps. No more in the Indian team, his franchise released him and though SRH picked him up, he's getting less than 60% of his last year's salary. He'd have a point to prove. So would Anmolpreet Singh who was with the Mumbai Indians since 2019 but got only 3 matches in 4 years. Other than them, the franchise also picked a bunch of rookie domestic players whom they would want to put their long term investment in. Vivrant Sharma: their latest acquisition from J&K; Sanvir Singh: Punjab finisher who strikes at 186 in T20s and Samarth Vyas, who this season became just the fifth batter to score a double century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, would be the favourites. Wicketkeeper-batter Heinrich Klassen has been in red hot form. Whilst his brisk, match-winning hundred against WI made headlines, it didn't come out of the blue. Before this, Klassen had a stellar season of SA20 amassing 350+ runs at an average of 60 and strike rate of 164. In his last match of the season Klassen scored a 43-ball century and helped his team post a score of 254 in 20 overs. With Tripathi, Markram and Brook/Philips in the side, Klassen is likely to be given the finisher's role batting at 6: which he has been successful with on a few occasions in the past. However, Klassen was regularly batting at 3 in the SA20. Given the kind of impact he can have and Markram and Brook's credibility in playing the finisher's role, SRH could - at some point in the tournament - promote Klassen up the order and ask him to have a whack. Last time a franchise promoted a keeper-batter-finisher up top, it became a milestone moment. Share this with SRH fans you know and feel free to express your thoughts in the comments. 2023.03.25 05:09 MeTTDaemon Rick and Morty chatGPT Episode: Berghain
... well gave it some Info and now i need this episode... xd
Rick and Morty were on another adventure, this time through the techno mecca of Berlin. They landed in a parking lot, which turned out to be the famous club Berghain. As they stumbled inside, they discovered that the club was more than just a place to dance - it was a portal to a parallel dimension.
Rick quickly realized that the only way to get back to their own dimension was to become the coolest techno DJ in Berghain. Morty, on the other hand, was swept away by the club's infamous darkroom and found himself lost in a sea of strangers.
As Rick navigated the high-pressure world of Berghain DJing, Morty was confronted with his own fears and desires. He met a stranger in the darkroom, and as they talked and danced, Morty found himself questioning his own sexuality.
Meanwhile, Rick's DJ skills were put to the test as he battled it out with the club's top DJs. He used his scientific know-how to create a killer track, but in the end, it was Morty who emerged as the true hero of the night.
In a moment of pure inspiration, Morty burst onto the dance floor, channeling all of his confusion and desire into a fierce techno dance. His moves were unlike anything anyone had ever seen before, and the crowd went wild. Rick was amazed by Morty's newfound confidence and realized that Morty was the key to their escape.
Together, Rick and Morty harnessed the power of techno and opened a portal back to their own dimension. As they stepped through the portal, Morty realized that he had come to accept himself for who he was, and that was the biggest win of all.
It was a wild and unforgettable night at Berghain, but Rick and Morty were happy to be back in their own dimension. They had learned valuable lessons about themselves and each other, and they were ready for whatever adventure came next

2023.03.25 04:38 Fair-Grade5595 Creep at the creek:
Me(17f) my boyfriend(19m John), his brother (16m joe) his friend(20m doug), me and boyfriend just bought a house and we got to hang sheet rock and almost finish our bedroom, but to celebrate we wanted to go the creek on our day off to relax and enjoy ourselves. The creek we went too was secluded, outside of the town in a what we call distracts. there’s never very much traffic and not many houses in the surrounding area. This creek is amongst the more popular hang out spot when it gets warmer, but it’s government property and open to public, it’s really hard to get into and almost mile walk to make it going through ruts and big pond like mud puddles.
so you were forced to walk it, if you didn’t have a truck that was especially good at mudding and easy to maneuver. The last person we heard attempting to drive down the path flipped their truck and no one ever attempts to drive down it.
it was later in the evening and getting dark, so we were going to try to build a fire, to warm up after we swam. We were there maybe 30 minutes when we start hearing trucks and seeing lights in the woods like someone was driving down the path to the creek. when we arrived no one was there and the last car was leaving. I am in general a very anxious and nervous person so already from the beggining exetremely paranoid and scared of who this person could be showing up to the creek nearly soon after we got there like he maybe followed us. we soon see this lanky man stumble down the path with a bottle of whiskey. At first we thought he might have been a teenager around our age just trying to find someone to hang out with and stumbled across our path and was just a coincidence. We soon learned he was a 26 and we told him our respected ages. Which was the first flag he offered us alcohol even though underage, although proven not to be poison or anything, it was just strange. He was very persistent with helping us start our fire. He mentioned how he could go grab his machete out of his truck to chop the branches or to go to his camp where he had 5 gallons of hand sanitizer. But soon after he mentions going to get the hand sanitizer he mentions that he hasn’t been to the creek in a while lately(year+) but who has hand sanitizer in large quantities stored at a camp that is not permanent or permitted(since it’s government property) As we continue to talk and kind of learn a little bit about each other this man was meticulously not telling us who he was but with anything we said he would relate too, like living on the same road as my boyfriend, when he lived with his dad, but my boyfriend didn’t know who he was even though we live in a small town with a small population, only after my boyfriend had mentioned it. Also said he was from the same town I grew up in which was almost 2 hours away and a very populated town. So seemingly like a serial pier or trying to relate to us to gain our trust. Eventually he asked why we haven’t asked him his name, yet and we proceeded to not tell us anything about his name or who he is, but claimed that we have done this all before like we have been in the same place with him before doing the same thing, we have not been to this creek in almost a year and I only went one time before and do not remember him. He acted like he was stuck in a time loop. He claimed that he knew us all already, I just moved to this town and don’t know very many people, and stay very much so to myself, so I remember a lot of the people I meet. what made it worse was the smiles he was giving all of us when no one else was looking it was bone chilling. And he knew we were kind of freaked out of him and he would make sly comments that we didn’t really pick up on. After that we decided it was time to leave as joe had school in the morning. As we were walking up the bank of the river the man whispered into Doug’s ear that “if we kept asking questions we were going to find out something we didn’t want to.” And mentions how we are all scared of him and that he can tell. And tries to more sarcastically defend himself, seemingly making it worse, because we could sense the danger. This man persisted that we get in the truck and ride with him, and When we denied he wanted us to sit on the tailgate which we denied again, he wanted to have us walk in front of the truck so we could use the headlights to see, we eventually convinced him that we would walk behind and he said he would go walking speed and let us keep up. He then starts making my boyfriend help him jump this newer truck (2015+) that was beat up. We finally get the truck going, and joe at this point is shaking with me, and starts getting noticeable uncomfortable when the man starts making persistent remarks about how he should get in the truck with him and ride so he didn’t have to walk. We didn’t allow him to get in the truck and the man stopped asking. After that we start walking at a slow lurch not seeming to look away from him through his back glass. When a bigger mud puddle comes up he stopped and told us to back away from the truck and turn around, like he didn’t want us to get covered in mud, but said it in a remarkably weird name that set off about 100 buzzers in my brain, I personally didn’t look away from the truck, not even a second, and when the truck was far enough away where it was slinging mud we went back to following. At that point he is driving faster so we are having to use flashlights to keep going to catch back up. He stopped and let us kept up and then speed off again to where he would wait til we are about vision distance away and skirted out to the road, we still had about a 5 minute walk, extremely anxious because we didn’t know if there where people with him waiting for us to make it to the car. We made it to the car and not seeing a trace of the did or his truck and quickly get into the car to leave. As we are pulling out to leave we see the dude seemingly been parked at the bridge waiting for us to leave. He then followed us down the road and we eventually lost him, and all made it home safely. We still don’t know his intentions were for that night. And nobody else knows who he is, and I can’t seem to find him online. And the only other information I know of him is that he is known to creep around town and tries to hang out with other teenagers in town. Whether not he was harmless but drunk and coming of wrong, serial killer, or an escape from an mental institution I hope me or anyone else ever had to cross pathes with him again. We Will no longer be going to the creek after dark or back to that creek in general.

2023.03.25 04:30 Fresh_Philosophy_566 38 [f4M] the northside; so much panic, very little disco…
Due to personal reasons, I don’t believe anyone.
My body currently has a “check engine light” on; I’m fine tho.
Always losing my mind while chilling the whole time.
Very bright but with lots of difficulty focusing.
If I tell you I’m busy, I’m just watching serial killer documentaries.

2023.03.25 03:57 IWillBaconSlapYou How do you get a 12 month old large breed dog to stop tearing stuff to shreds?
Full disclosure: I don't usually do puppies. The rescue was VERY mistaken about how old my great Pyrenees was (and what breed he is, so his crazy growth has been a surprise). Luckily, he's been very trainable in most regards, but holy HELL, he rips everything to pieces!! I don't really know what to do, because I never catch him in the act. He does great if I shut the baby gate over the stairs, because the downstairs is his scary serial killer basement where he brings his victims, as there are no witnesses down there during the day. But my husband who WFH will definitely never shut doors behind him ever (he's on the autism spectrum, and a few basic skills are just unobtainable for whatever reason), so every time I leave the house, I come home to some carnage. I got a variety of chew toys and bones, but he prefers coats, shoes, electronic cables, etc. It's getting really expensive! It's impossible for me to keep everything put away, because of the three little kids and disorganized husband (also, this is, like, a house, where people live...), and the dog is like a thousand feet tall, so he can access a lot of "safe" places.
But the kicker came today... A white cockatoo beanie baby in shreds, missing an eye. YES IT'S A BIG DEAL! At age 7, I gifted it to my dad for Christmas, for lack of independent finances. I felt stupid about it, but my dad ran with it and created a whole persona for her (Punky Pinkarelli, a 27-club-style punk rock superstar with a cockney accent). We improv'd with Punky all the time. Well, my dad passed away suddenly a few weeks ago, and mom said I could take anything I wanted from his office. And there was Punky, prominently displayed on a shelf! My dad not only kept that silly gift for 25 years, he kept it on a literal pedestal! I immediately snatched her up... Only to lose her to THIS RAT BASTARD DOG within a week! (Sorry, dog, I actually love you, but Jesus Christ, dude).
Give it to me straight: is he even old enough to stop this crap yet? Is there any way to get it through his head that... Just... You know... NOT COOL BRO!?!?

2023.03.25 03:17 Inevitable-Cheek-106 27 [F4M] Looking for constant someone
At the moment, I'm not in a hurry to get into a relationship. Just someone who can be with me when I need company and vice versa. Someone who can share random thoughts with me. I don't care if it's work; a business proposal about work you want my opinions on, or a shower thought. My favorite thing is listening to people talk about what they're passionate about. Seeing others' eyes widen in excitement just makes me smile. The setting doesn't matter to me, whether it's in a parking lot or over drinks. As an ambivert, I prefer being alone with people who are like balls of energy. Someone who can drain my energy by laughing at things we both find funny and then falling asleep. I like cuddles too, but that's about it. There's something nice about being in comfortable silence sometimes. Now that's out of the way, who's in?
About me:- Working professional- Female- 5'2''- I have fats (I'll leave it to your imagination lol)- Mestiza (Chinita when smiling "daw")- Nerd- Straight- Lives in MM South- I work at night- I'm not a loner. I have bestfriends pero hindi kase nagtatagpo schedules namin but we stay connected everyday and I can't cuddle them lol- I can a photo of me on tg
About you & the setup:Let's meet in public twice. Haha, I have to make sure you're not a serial killer. Should be comfortable sending their photo. Describe you and your interests, so I know if we could get along. If you're pursuing someone, don't bother sending me a message - respect the girl. This is not an ONS/Hookup. It's like a FWB without the sex. I don't want to be entangled in an existing open relationship. Please be an adult, a working professional too. Must be near my location so we can hang out whenever we want to or you have a car (not necessary pero in case you're far). People who like being with someone but don't like the stress of being in a relationship might like this. No expectations, no demands. Just companionship.

2023.03.25 02:25 loonyloveslovegood Least favourite thing about Criminal Minds
Mine is that later in the seasons nearly every the crime was a serial killer. My favourite episodes were the arson ones but at a certain point the BAU only dealt with serial killers. It got boring and repetitive
